Regrow green onions again and again with the Hamama Green Onion growing system. Simply use the green onion lid insert with your Hamama coconut mat and grow tray. Never run out of green onions again!
Note: Green onions are not included. You will use store bought green onions and save by re-growing them several times. Bamboo frame sold separately.

Q: How do I get started growing green onions?
You’ll purchase your starter green onions at your grocery store or local farmers market. Save your green onion ends for planting in your Hamama Green Onion Kit.
Q: How fast will my green onions regrow?
You will see an average of 3 inches of growth per week. With spots for 39 green onion ends, that means you'll be able to grow nearly 10 feet of green onions per week!
Q: How much should I water?
Maintenance is easy! Just add water to the fill line, place one coco mat inside, and refill to the water level just once every two weeks.
Q: What are the tray dimensions?
The grow tray dimensions are 12.5" x 6.5" x 2"
Q: Is the Green Onion Kit compatible with other Hamama products?
The Green Onion Lid is compatible with the black grow tray, not the white ceramic grow tray. Your Green Onion Kit will fit perfectly inside of our beautiful Bamboo Frame.
Q: How often do I need to switch out the coconut mat?
Each coconut mat will be good to use for 3-4 weeks. After 4 weeks, the growth will slow and it is best to reset your green onion kit.
Q: What lighting do my green onions need?
Your green onions will grow in low light, so regular indoor overhead lighting is just fine! For darker green shoots, consider supplemental lighting.

Maybe I�m cutting off too much but they don�t stand up and are too short for the wooden board
Great, its keep growing, never run out of green onion
There isn’t much flavor
First, the kit is well made, and works as it is supposed to. I just didn�t realize that I would have to sacrifice the bottom 2 inches of a green onion � that is most of the white part of the onion! I eat the white part, not just the greens. So I�m trying to give this a try, with my sacrificial onions. The greens are growing. Perhaps as they get bigger they will be true complete green onions and I�ll actually get whole onions again. Kind of an expensive fun experiment.
Should fine a way to make this work for the garlic and green onions. Note that I realized how much I spent on both seems silly
