I love Food Saver Products. Ive had a Food Saver for over 10 years and it stopped sealing. There was no question which sealing system I should get but Idid research the all. Food Saver was my choice again and I loved all the new features and bonuses that came with it.  I prepare my meats and freeze. I use a marker to indicate the date it was in the freezer. I even bought a Food Saver for my son and daughter-in-law and they love it.

Food Saver Is The Best!

A great moneysaver that my sister and I are happily using. Buying larger quantities and saving money since we can purchase the more economical larger pack of meats and veggies and share the cost. Even bagels and muffins can be frozen and stay fresh as when originally purchased.

Foodsaver Rocks!

We have talked about getting one of these for years because we like to buy in bulk.  This works great!  Just as expected and easy to use.  I really like the separate small vacuum for the zoo bags too! Very convenient for grabbing something out and then quickly resealing.

Why did we wait so long!

I have been wanting a Vacuum Sealer for a while now. After looking everywhere for one at a good price, I came across the FoodSaver FM2000 with the battery-operated handheld sealer with dock package. The system was an exceptional price, well packed and arrived quickly. After using for two weeks, I find that both the vacuum sealer and the handheld unit worked flawlessly. Some reviews across the net complained about the handheld not holding a charge, but I charged mine for a full 24hr, actually more like 30hr, and have not had any problems. I have to say, I am thoroughly satisfied with and enjoying my purchase and expect it to last a long time. My only complaint is that I have used all my vacuum bags and have to go to Walmart to get more, but hey, that's why they are considered consumables. Would recommend and purchase again...

I have used the food saver for years. It saves money on food and keeps items longer in the freezer. Love this model easy to use. Love that it comes with bags.

Let's get it sealed!

Purchased after noticing meat in our freezer was becoming freezer burned quickly. We buy in bulk and also freeze vegetables from our garden. It was easy to use!  Only 1 bag was not sealed correctly during our learning process!  We are very pleased and wish we had purchased the vacuum sealer much sooner.

Easy to use, saves money by keeping foods longer.

After having FoodSaver products for over 30 years, I ordered the the sealer to cut back on counter space. I was disappointed by the lack of some of the features of the larger units, such as, the bag cutter, the pull out accessory vac tube, etc. I have several accessories that require the vac tube, such as, marinating pans, jar sealers, etc.I just had to order vac tubes from Walmart, hopefully they will do the job. As for the handheld sealer, I still have and use an old handheld vac from 25 years ago. My old larger FoodSaver and old handheld, I gifted to a friend from church.

Smaller but still has FoodSaver Quality

I'm disappointed that each bag needs to be individually cut with scissors and the bag material does not mount in the sealer like some others. This feature was not explained in the ad for the sealer.

Disappointed

Maybe I got a bad unit? We were able to seal 2 bags and that was it. Took “gaskets” out and flipped them over and that gave us the 2nd vac, but none after that. Very disappointed. For something that should suck, it did not. Debating on trying again, the foam gaskets seem cheap and useless to me.

It was supposed to suck, in a good way.
