How do I clean my zester grater?

Oh, my. This is in my utensil crock for handy use because I'm using it more than I expected to. Quickly zesting limes and lemons (you can freeze zest, BTW) and harder cheeses is a breeze. I'm dolling up our garden salads with Dubliner cheese and our pasta dishes with parmesan so quickly, where without this, I'd say, Eh, it's good without cheese! :) Of course, these aren't the only uses you'll get, but I've only had this a few weeks.

It's a pretty color, too. Be sure and keep the guard on it when not using, as the teeth are razor-sharp. This is a high-quality planer. HIGHLY recommend!

I used to have a grater specifically for lemon and lime rinds that was four times as wide. You have to apply a fair amount of pressure in order to grate a lemon, and the wide grater coukd not withstand the pressure in various spots. This one is fantastic! It’s narrow so there’s no guesswork as to what part of the grate to use, and it all collects in a groove that easily empties. It’s 100% better than the one I had!
