About

Alanis Morissette established herself as the foremost female singer-songwriter of the 1990s with her 16-time platinum-certified third album Jagged Little Pill, released in 1995. The Ottawa, Ontario native had already released her 1991 debut Alanis and 1992’s Now Is the Time before graduating high school and moving to Los Angeles, where Morrisette began to develop Jagged Little Pill. After its release, Jagged Little Pill gained steam behind singles like “You Oughta Know,” “Hand in My Pocket,” “Ironic” and “You Learn,” propelling the album to Morissette’s first of three consecutive No. 1s on the Billboard 200. At the 1996 Grammys, she claimed four trophies including Album of the Year, Best Rock Album and Best Rock Song for “You Oughta Know.” The album has sold more than 33 million copies worldwide, and remains one of the all-time best-selling albums in the U.S. 1998’s Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie and 2002’s Under Swept Rug followed, led by singles like “Thank U” and “Hands Clean.” In 2018, Morissette debuted the musical Jagged Little Pill, which reimagines her catalog while adding several new, original compositions, and the production moved to Broadway a year later — landing 15 Tony nominations and two wins as well as a Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album. Morisette then released her ninth and tenth studio albums, 2020’s Such Pretty Forks in the Road and 2022’s The Storm Before the Calm

    Three times isnt enough

    by Mel on 10/22/23

I have loved Alanis since JLP came out. It is one of the best albums from start to finish. Her tours are always amazing and this last one did not disappoint. Her vocals are amazing. I bet she could sing without a MIC!!!!!! Her voice is so beautiful and I could feel all her songs deep in my soul. I would not miss an Alanis tour! I saw her when JLP came out and twice since. I can't wait for another show. A legend.

    Unfortunate sound mixing

    by Linda on 8/18/23

Would have been a great concert, however, the vocals were not clear nor loud enough.

    Bucket list concert!

    by Tracy on 8/18/23

I never thought I'd see her in concert and to have her come so close to where I live _ priceless! Except for the 4 broads who wouldn't shut up behind me (did you have someplace else to be? GO THERE!) and we had to move to slightly less visiblity so we didn't have to listen to them. The concert was excellent! Sound was good, Alanis sang everything we wanted to hear and performed beautifully!

    Perfect

    by Brianavw on 8/17/23

Alanis was incredible! She brought so much energy to the show it was amazing. Happily surprised that her voice sounds even better live than in recordings. Loved, loved, loved the performance!

    GREAT voice, great energy

    by EKW on 8/17/23

I was honestly shocked by the clarity of Alanis's voice - I swear it's even better than it was 25 years ago. She was an engaging, high-energy performer. Top notch. My only minor complaint would be that the venue could use some TLC. It didn't feel very comfortable or secure.

Alanis delivered a perfect performance with her vocals and delivery of all her songs. Her band is spot on and I consider this one of the best concerts out there to experience.
