Awesome experience!! Got to see them NY, they are so energetic and had an amazing performance! If they ever come back around I’m def going again

first of all was my first time seeing them live, i was a tad ticked that the show was moved from the Teragram as i live near the Red line in Hollywood, and would have taken the subway directly to the show, took me a while to find parking near the Moroccan Lounge, I almost blew off the show until i licked upon a shot, the wait in line was ok, finally the first show let out, it took a while for them to let us in, once in the crowd had to wait at the entrance to the actual stage/venue inside the bar area, and folks who'd been in line early now ended up farther back. that was not ideal, once the sound check for the opening band was done the audience was let in, a bit of a rush to get to the front of the stage, the opening band 26fix, were ok, had a couple of good tunes. the turnaround between bands was quick as Chai's equipment was preset on stage, so only took about 10 minutes.They made their entrance in some very,very interesting costumes, their choreography, spotless, as the show went on, bits of the costumes were jettisoned, the venue was very warm and the girls mentioned that a couple of times. They played some of their new material, some of their more well known songs, they worked really hard, by the end they looked fairly exhausted and shiny from sweating. the sound was good, they use backing tracks to some of their songs and those were synched and worked great, they are really seasoned pros. part of this new wave of female Japanese musicians that are super talented and lots of fun. all in all i enjoyed the show itself a lot, oh and saw two members of The Linda Linda's there and they enjoyed it as well.

Chai is great - the music is catchy, fun, thoughtful, and energetic. The live show was very joyful, with great performances from the band and a lot of enthusiasm from the crowd. This was my first Chai show, but I hope it wont be my last.

tbh i pretty much only came to see buzz who i have been really loving lately, but CHAI REALLY captivated and convinced me to stay for the rest of the night! what a stellar performance, so engaging and unique and bombastic. additionally, the opener buzz elevated the entire room into the stratosphere with her ethereal sound and modern synth band vibes. 10/10!

IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! I went with my sister who didn’t know any of CHAI’s songs but she also had the BEST time ever! We liked the venue with two bars and the music the fans everything was great!

This was definitely a show to remember, the energy was definitely there and Chai and opener Su Lee had amazing performances! I love the Teragram because you get amazing close up experiences, always love the shows there. :)
