About

100 gecs, the duo Laura Les and Dylan Brady, planted their flag on the proverbial pop culture moon with the release of the 2019 debut album 1,000 gecs. The innovative album captivated online fan forums and music literati alike with The New York Times calling it, "some of the savviest pop music of the year," and Rolling Stone dubbing it "one of 2019's most exciting debuts." The years that followed saw the St. Louis natives go from unlikely SoundCloud cult heroes to show-stopping wizard-cloaked pied pipers, covering magazines and selling out concerts across the globe. With the arrival of their long awaited sophomore album, 10,000 gecs, in March 2023, 100 gecs appear yet again to be two steps ahead of the curve on the ever-molting pop music landscape. Vulture praised the "intangible and ineffable" sound of the album calling it "high concept pop" and fittingly Pitchfork called it "a perfect outro album for the end of the world" while dubbing it 'Best New Music' in their review. Equipped with stadium-sized anthems like "Dumbest Girl Alive" and "Hollywood Baby" the 10x sized album is road-ready as the band ventures out on their 10,000 gecs world tour.

    Wow!

    by S. B. on 9/16/23

They really put on a show! We were on Dylan’s side near the barricade and it was really cool to see him using the soundboard while they played. Couldn’t see Laura well but what I did see she put everything into it! 10/10 I would gec again.

Is this classified as good music?

    by J. S. on 9/4/23

Not sure what all the hype is about. This is soulless yet goofy at the same time. Feels like I’m in some worm hole with no way out.

    kewl VIP was booty tho

by trashboat on 5/22/23Hollywood Palladium - Hollywood

both 100 gecs and machine girl were amazing to see, strongly disliked the venue though. You will not see **anything** in VIP unless u r the upgraded table seats in the front. at some point my friend and I deducted that it was just more worth it to go to the floor (it was).

    10/10 (The Gec went hard)

    by O.B on 5/22/23

Definately an acquired taste for sure, but aside from that, it is the most fun to be had at a concert ever. Both artists are just charismatic and fun, and provide the best concert going experience ever. Would definately consider seeing them again!

    Gexctreme

by B. P. on 5/20/23Hard Rock Live Orlando - Orlando

The event was amazing. The opener, Machine Girl, was loud and exciting and got the crowd hyped. The Gecs were funny and played songs from all their albums/EPs. It was as loud as I hoped it would be, and I'm glad I wore earplugs. 10/10 would gec again.

AMAZING Show @ The Hollywood Palladium

    by jagerwald on 5/20/23

Had an absolutely amazing experience seeing 100 gecs live. Machine Girl opening up was cool but Dylan and Laura really know how to put on a killer show. They do a really good job with making things personal with the crowd, even when audio issues happen. During the song "Hollywood Baby" the audio cut out and Laura did a fantastic job at corralling the audience in to chanting the lyrics in unity. A song about Hollywood personas being performed at the Hollywood Palladium and the entire crowd chanting the song with no instrumentals was magical, a very happy accident. It was a moment in time I will never forget. 10,000gecs/10
