Ive had this cuisinart  oakmont pellet smoker for about 4 months now, and have smoked many many pounds of meats, and its always produced some of the tastiest, juiciest, smoked meats ive ever had. Temp control  keeps temp where you want it, only about 10 degress fluctuations here and there, which isnt bad compared to many other models. the bluetooth/wifi controls are neat to keep an eye on things while you're in the house doing other things. its huuuge, i attached pics to give example,  those are 3 full racks of spare ribs and a 5 pound brisket, other is a 14pound turkey and a boston butt, all on the bottom grate. has HD grates and stainless warming rack, the lights inside work great, just have to clean the lens in between use. smokes good, feeds pellets good, has really large side and front shelves. 2 plug ins for temp probes, comes with one. Holds in smoke really well, most comes out in the stack and not out from around the lid. large lower shelf for all your accessories. I am soooo impressed. assembly took about 1.5 hours and 7 beers, was easy, and all the screws were already threaded into where they needed to go, which was so nice, instead of getting a box of screws. has 4 swivel casters, makes it easy to move around. The lid is thick and having the front window is awesome to peak at the meat without letting the heat/smoke out. again, im really impressed!  hope this review helps, and happy Smokin!

Fabulous smoker but the app doesn't work and won't connect to WiFi. Bluetooth feature is fabulous but you have to stay within a 10ft radius

This grill has worked great after I resolved a couple of issues.  The safety grate inside the hopper tends to hold the pellets up and not let them feed into the auger.  I removed this grate and haven't had the issue again.  The temperature sensor was reading way higher then it actually was inside the grill so it wasn't getting up to temp.  I got the sensor replaced on warranty the grill is back up and running like normal.  The app works okay but I wish it had the option to remote start.  Size and features wise this is a great grill.  I enjoy cooking everything in it!

Great features and customer service

Easy to control. Large cooking area. Maneuverability is limited to hard, smooth surfaces. Not idea for grass or gravel spaces. The app seems to be glitchy at times when trying to adjust temps, but wonderful for monitoring. The controls are easy to use, but tend to not be as easy once the temp around the controls rise, takes some finesse to adjust temps up or down. The handle tends to block the usage of the front shelf and the smoke stack does not lend to using the side self very easily either. After less than a month of use I've had a thermocouple error, which seemed resolved after unplugging the coupler connection and plugging it back in. Overall, build appears to be sturdy and decent. I am satisfied with the Oakmont and would suggest it to friends or family.

Amazing smoker and grille. Massive cooking surface

When I arrived to pick up, box was damaged, associate did say i coudk refuse, but been waiting to use it so took. got home and unpacked.  Cuisinart did an outatanding jon of packaging. there were soem scuffs o. the back and some bends i needed to hammer out but over all in great shape. Assembled grill and got working. followed all lighting instructions ran grill for 30 mins on 200, 30 mins on 250 then 30 minutes on 400. ran good smokes good. i have made steak, burgers and hotdogs so far and all  have come out well with competition blend pellets. great flavor. this thing smokes even at high Temps.  Holds temps well when it reaches temp. Doesn't have PID controller but with eveything it does have at this price point it is a great deal. it is very even across the grates with the right front edge the hottest. People with issues probably got a bad one, but as everything is made in china, unless you spend 1500 to 2k, for the price i can live with the possibilities of  breaking sooner. so far so good movign towards pork shoulder and brisket soon.

Works great very spacious for all your big smokes, Food tastes amazing, Only dislike was the assembly it comes in pieces (literally) but has good instructions. And the Bluetooth app make it a must buy hands down for the price.

Best bang for buck pellet grill!!!!

I bought this online and drove to the store to get it loaded in my van. The workers loaded it up without dropping it or anything but when i got home i noticed the box had foot long cuts/dents on both sides. I opened it up and everything was fine except for the main grill box had large dents on the left and right sides. There are noticable gaps on the outside as seen in my photos but the inside appears sealed. I will make sure to inspect the box next time but this should have been caught by multiple people and sold as damaged.

I had high hopes for this a month ago, but after this weekend, I returned it. The temp fluctuates around 200 degrees higher when set at 275. I've got a video of it rising several times. I've had it set at 350 and watched it go down to 140. But this weekend it started a contained fire due to an overflow of pellets. It was set at 275 and when I checked on it the third time in about 45 minutes I saw thick smoke billowing from everywhere. I had to unplug it and about an hour later it finally went out. I discovered it overfed the pellets and there was ash and an overflow of pellets everywhere. Every time I checked on it I could hear the auger running but I didn't think anything about it until I saw the smoke. I kept the unit immaculate and always covered and cleaned after each use and always out of rain. I don't like the fact smoke comes up through the hopper. The manual says it's normal, but I fear the heat could have traveled through the hopper and really engulfed the unit. The fire pot is close to the wall where the hopper is and not in the middle, which I thought was a good thing until I saw smoke in the hopper. When I moved the pellets around I could always feel heat in the hopper. Serious design flaws.
