The dimensions of this mat are (L x W x H): 20.25 x 18.0 x 2.25.

I am not good with measurements but I am guessing 1/4 inch. It is thick enough that it would not tear.

I would say approximately 1/32&quot; thick.

I don't know the exact thickness, but it is very durable.

I would say cheap plastic.......like the plastic that holds soda cans together:(

I really like this I especially like the measurements that are on it and even though I haven't tried to do it I believe it could be used as a cutting pad for light cutting but there again if you intend to use it for baking or delicate work I wouldn't recommend doing that I bought it purposely to use as a universal mat for many tasks I like the large size

I had recently starting making sourdough bread and it seemed I could NEVER get the flour/sticky dough off of my counter tops.  I bought this mat and it helps tremendously.  It stays in place and it easy to clean!

Stays in Place

I have used the mat about 6 times so far.  It has worked well in rolling out both pie crust and biscuit dough.  It also helped to minimize the flour mess.  Clean up was breeze.   This product is half the cost of the Tupperware version and I am pleased with my purchase.

Pastry Mat

I love this pastry mat. It stays put of you put a drop of water on your counter just underneath each corner of the mat. Rolling out pie crust just got a little easier and cleanup,is a snap.

I remember dough rolling mats from my childhood. This is an improved version. It doesn't slip all over the counter. It has measurements to help guide you. It gives you a place to work the dough but if you need to let the dough rest you can move the whole thing out of the way without making a giant mess. Very handy kitchen tool.

Handy kitchen gadget

The work mat is great for making the pie crust. Only feature that needs to figure out is how not let it slide around on the counter. I have to reroll the mat backwards in order to let it lay flat out and kind of moisten the counter so the mat sticks to it. Other wise it is great to work on.

Great for protecting counter surface.

It wasn't "non-skid" like I hoped, therefore no better than any standard flexible pastry mat. Unless I was using it wrong, it was sliding all over my counter when I tried to roll out the dough. However, the grid and circle measurements on it come in handy and is larger than the cutting board I was trying to use before. What I ended up doing is putting those rubbery non-skid shelf liners underneath and the slipping and sliding ceased.

Not "non-skid"

Despite its claims it is not non-skid.  I wanted something to help keep the mess off the counter so I got this.  Unfortunately this thing slides around so much it's unusable.  You end up having to use one hand to hold this thing and the other hand to knead or roll out dough.  My counter isn't big enough to put something heavy at each corner so I don't even use it anymore.  Waste of money.

Not non-skid

Not happy...14 dollars for a thin piece of plastic that slides all over the place. It also came rolled up and would not go into the flat position.

It is not " non skid ".

I'm concerned what kind of plastic this is made out of because the package says do not put in the dishwasher. I'm not even going to use it I'm going to return it back to the store.
