However, I also got these for air travel, but they do not meet personal item requirements for under seats. Product Dimensions are 13"L x 12"W x 18"H. Just OK. The interior is poorly padded, making for a bumpy ride for kitty. My cats complained about the bumpiness even when walked slowly, although they liked it a lot when we were still. The fan and light stick out way too much in the interior, and my cats kept bumping against them when we walked, which made them very uncomfortable and made me worry I would hurt them. Removing the fan and light is not easy. These defects have caused me to use the backpack much less than I expected.

Cool backpack to carry my Luna around. She seems to have taken a liking to it.
I don't see myself leaving her in there for several hours even with the little integrated fan, but it should work for short trips to the vet.
Both the light and fan work as intended. Note that the fan makes some noticeable noise that increases when sped up, but it does ventilate the interior a bit which is a nice bonus.
