I am very happy but I chose this humidifier. I was really worried about getting 1 that would leak the missed all over the furniture around this 1 has not done that. I can make much better with it and I love the fact it has a remote.... For the price I'm happy

This helped me get back on my feet from being very sick.  Quality product,  easy to use with great instruction manuals as well.  I like the essential oils feature too.  This seems like a durable product that will last a long time, very happy wit the price point as well.

Great price for a high quality item

very nice room humidifier. using it for a plant room, mostly aroids. even in an area w/an avg of 10% humidity during the day (often less), manages to keep my plants at 70%, with forced hot air heating my house. runs nearly 24/7, but given my conditions/room size, etc., it's expected. i may get one more, just to 'lighten the load'. but it's a nice little gizmo. quiet,sleek, easy to fill/clean. only gripe are those 'demineralization' pads. i need those in at least a hundred pack-not in those silly, WAY overpriced 10 packs offered all over the internet. thinking a slightly more frequent vinegar cleaning will be a far better option..... AND i wish the 'exhaust' was a tad more powerful-i have a box fan circulating the room 24/7, without which the mist would struggle to go 6ft from the unit- other than that, great device. if it lasts at least a yr going through 2 tank refills a day (present rate of operation to maintain 70%), i'll he quite happy :)

This works fine. As others have said, it would be nice if you could refill the tank without having to remove it. The fill cap is on the bottom of the tank.
I had mixed results when setting the desired humidity. I think that's because some of the "fog" fell back on the unit and probably skewed the humidity reading of the room.
Overall it meets my needs. Seems to run through 2-3 tanks of water in a 24 hour period. Definitely makes the house more comfortable during the cold months.

Does as expected

In my 135 sqft bedroom it can raise the humidity level by about 5%. I can't imagine how they advertise this as being for large spaces. It (allegedly) puts out up to 500ml/hr, which is about as much as I have seen available.

Use the Mist setting 3 to  get the most mist (which is what I need). The Auto setting is a bit mysterious. It sets the machine to maintain a "comfortable" level. The Humidity Level settings seem to read the level in the immediate vicinity of the machine, which means that the rest of the room never gets to the humidity level that it's set for. Put a hygrometer about 6 feet away and you'll see there's a difference of about 10-15% from the humidity reading showing on the machine.

The little drawer for adding essential oils doesn't seem to work. I added about a dozen drops of peppermint oil and smelled absolutely nothing. I even tried leaving the room and coming back. Nothing.

There's no top fill which is a bit of a hassle. The tank weighs 14 lbs 6.2oz when full.

I personally don't need the heat option.

It's nice to have a remote. I didn't want to download an app and need a phone to control it.

I use water from a ZeroWater pitcher and it needs very little cleaning. It's important to use distilled or demineralized water.

The instructions are easy to read, and being a US based company you can hope for good customer service if needed. It's one of the more effective ones available in terms of ml/hr output. I think it's great for a small room like mine.

It works but doesn't live up to the hype

I'll start with dislike and it's not that bad. Getting the tank lined up to go in. It's kinda weird.  And the remote to me is kinda useless cuz I'm right next to it any way. Would like it to be cheeper so I can get more.Now the likes . Easy fill came with extra  filter things . I can put the most in two directions which was nice for me and the kiddos. Easy to read screen. And easy set up.

It's great.

i paid $80.00 for this. not what i thought it was going to be. its all plastic. i own a older model and it's made of higher quality.  not worth  the price. and box states it will run for 50 hours on one tank, only lasted 8 hours on the %231 setting. for one tank.

levoit humidifier

I could have sworn when I looked this up it was the smart one. And when I got it I thought my blind self did something wrong. Good humidifier, easy to clean, annoyed at the original listing. Possible misunderstanding but I've seen it happen across too many platforms to be sure. Works great just wish, especially for almost $100,  it was smart because it's tough and I'm very blind now.

Wrong model?

This things heating element had black stuff coming off of it into the reservoir after the first use. Got another top loading one and it doesn't do that at all. Seems defective.
