A New Standard
As pioneers of removable chin bar technology, we have a legacy to uphold and overcome. We designed the Super Air R from the ground up to push the boundaries of performance and versatility — starting with Spherical Technology™. Spherical Technology's Ball-and-Socket design, powered by Mips®, helps redirect impact forces away from the brain by allowing the outer liner to rotate around the inner liner during a crash. Throw in superior ventilation, a total weight that is 22%, or 144 grams, lighter than its predecessor, and an easy 2-click removable chin bar — and you've got a true all-mountain performer. No concussion
Sadly I had to test this helmet out when I miss timed my jump the other day. Landed on my back and the back of my head whiplashed into the ground, hard. Wearing a helmet probably saved my life. Wearing this Super Air R though ment I was able to pedal away several minutes later. No question the spherical technology is the reason I dint have serious injury or a concussion. I cannot recommend this helmet enough. The GoPro mount is awesome for a head mounted light too if you like riding in the dark which is the main reason why I bought a Bell sixer before upgrading to this helmet. Once the sixer was ready to retire I bought this one because it looked like it would cool my head faster and it does. But most importantly, if you ever really need to have a helmet, this one will take the hit.

Didn’t Die
Absolutely yeeted myself off a jump and collided with a tree. My buddy was in front and said the impact sounded like a gunshot. Mild concussion and don’t remember the crash but for how awful my body feels it was pretty bad. Chin guard saved me from reconstructive surgery and was still clamped firmly to the helmet. 10/10 am ordering another.
