About 2 years ago, I bought a bottle and loved it. This time around, my forehead and cheeks broke out into tiny bumps all over. I either developed an allergic reaction over time, or they changed their formula and added something that I'm allergic to. The only skincare product I've ever had an allergic reaction to was The Ordinary Buffet serum which caused a similar reaction. My skin now has a terrible texture when I put makeup on.

Currently dealing with a painful itchy reaction to this lotion! I used it a few different times on my arms and chest and now I am paying the price! This is the first time my skin has ever reacted like this. Now I know why tamanu isn’t widely used, there are a lot of people allergic to it!!! Won’t be using this again.

I had some acne and post-acne scarring back in 2020 and when I used GBR regularly I saw that my face completely cleared up, and my skin was in the greatest condition ever.
In 2022, I started suffering from acne on my cheeks due to wearing masks and external factors from living abroad for a year. I was eventually put on prescription-grade adapalene which worked until about a year later my skin became sensitive, red, and more acne-prone from regular use. I stopped and just used GBR every night again and my sensitivity went away, my redness went down, and my breakouts decreased!
