I waited months for these to come back in stock. I had high hopes, but really, these are super average, especially for the $95 price tag. I live in FL and have worn these maybe 3x’s and they’re already scuffing (last photo). The matte color tends to hold onto dirt and lent. They are comfortable and run large. I am typically an 8.5, ordered the 8, and still have room to spare.

    I am so so so in love with these boots! I’ve always loved the look of Hunters but the price kept me away. After 2 winters in a row trying to find some good rain boots (I had returned 2 diff kinds already) I took my shot with these. Im truly an 8.5-9. And in boots always a 9. So I was iffy listening to the comments on saying these run large. But I trusted them and went with the 8. I would say they are spot on perfect. Like no extra room. So it’s a little scary but they do feel awesome. They’re supposed to break in anyways so I think I should stick with these. I’d like to try the 9 just to see but honestly the 8 is pretty great.     Truly never write reviews but these are just to good not to share. I live In Los Angeles so It's safe to say rainboots aren't a necessity but yet I always find myself wanting them as soon as we get the slightest sprinkle of rain. This is also why I hesitated so long in buying these, $100 for rainboots that I may only use a couple of times?

    This is why I jumped at the opportunity to get them when I planned a extended trip to the Pacific Northwest, and I'm so glad I did! These boots were not only stylish ( I received several complements) but were surprisingly VERY comfortable. On heavy walking days these provided excellent support and by the end of the day I wasn't ready to cut off my feet. I stand at a whopping 5 feet so the short boot was a perfect length. Even though it doesn't look like we will be getting much rain this year I will still be wearing these often. The style is just right to be able to wear them in chilly weather as well because it doesn't come off as a bulky rain boot.

    So do yourself a favor if you are hesitating like I was. BUY THE BOOTS... they're worth every penny!

    Perfect height! I’ve had several other high end name brands that although “cute” were never quite right for various ill-fitting reasons. These shorty Hunters however finally got it all right!! No cutting into my ankles by mid-day wear with thin leggings or tights and no worries of painful chafing when I opted to skip socks all together for an “impromptu”, get the kiddos to school like five minutes ago, followed up for the oh so necessary reward of a fancy coffee stop before even thinking about my list of chores morning. 😆 As for the more critical reviews about comfort...c’mon ladies, these obviously aren’t made to be cross fit or cross country running shoes nor expected to have the warmth of snow boots! However, these boots aren’t only just about their cutesy looks. There’s still been plenty attention given for enough foot support and with fair arch support and padding for all day wear, if needed. I intentionally bought my true size because I wanted mine to fit more on a snug side (with thin socks) and because the uber-thick boot socks are not a big need where I live. Hope this helps!!

    These are really good looking and practical. They do in fact run small. I know this to be true because I was a true size 8 before getting pregnant my shoe went up a size and none of my size 8 shoes fit me anymore post-partum. I ordered these in a 9 to replace my older rain boots (not Hunters) that no longer fit. When I tried the 9 they were huge and I had to ironically replace with a size 8 that fit perfectly. Even with big socks my feet were falling out of the size 9 so especially if you are a half size, size down. Other than that I really like these! Straight out of the box they are comfy. Didn’t require any breaking in.

    UPDATE: I still love these boots but the sole is coming apart at the seam, which defeats the purpose of a rainbow. I am returning them and trying again with the same pair, maybe just a faulty boot. Im bummed to be without them in the meantime as its super rainy right now. I went with the reviews and ordered the size down, Im a solid 8-1/2 and went with an 8 versus a 9. They fit perfectly. They are so comfortable to wear all day long and since it has been raining for a week now, I am beyond happy to have these. I love the sole, small platform and a little less 'garden' looking than the other styles. And the ankle opening is wide enough that it does not rub at all, which is nice with short boots. I would definitely recommend and I got a lot of compliments on the cuteness of these boots.

    These rain boots are ADORABLE! I bought these for my mother for EASTER so she could wear in her gardens while doing yard work such as planting bulbs, flowers and watering plants in her gardens.     These are a great fit and very comfortable but unfortunately after only wearing them a couple of times the red loop at the back came off one of the boots. And then after wearing them afew more times later the rubber join between the sole and boot slightly split which then let in water. So although I’ve had these boots almost a year, they have only been worn a handful of times and have developed 2 faults. Alittle disappointing for the price.
