I love these shorts. I have a 26" waist and 34" hip and weigh 110lbs. I'm a 24 in Levi jeans, and my old pair of Levi shorts are a 23. I read in the reviews that these shorts ran small, and I find that to be true. I ordered a 24 instead of a 23, and when they arrived I compared the sizes of both shorts. I included a photo with new pair size 24 on top of the old size 23 pair. You can see in the photo that they appear to be the same size. I cannot speak for the other styles of shorts, but for this wash I can say that you'll need to size up. They don't have a lot of room to stretch and will shrink up a bit after wearing, so keep that in mind before ordering. Can't really beat Levi denim. I'll always wear Levi's!

    I'm 5'5 115 lbs and usually a size 27 in levis, so that's what i got. I got them in "lunar black" and "black deconstructed." Not sure why, since both of these shorts are really similar except for one of them has more rips in them (I can't remember exactly what i was thinking at the time when i ordered, but LOL I do remember feeling ridiculously torn about which ones to get!).

    Despite the fact that they're supposed to be the same size, the "black deconstructed" pair was too small for me (both too short and tight). They did seem to have a 2.5 inch inseam, so maybe they were just tighter in the waist and forced me to pull them up higher? I don't know, but they measured about 11inches long from the waist band to the bottom on the sides. They're really cute, but small enough that i had to return them. Still considering if it's worth ordering them in size 28 (since i'm keeping the other ones, probably not, but i also feel like i can never have too many pairs of shorts if i like them).

    The size 27 "lunar black" shorts measure nearly 12 inches long with a nearly 3 inch inseam. They weren't as tight as the other pair and fit me like normal. You wouldn't think it from looking at them though (i don't know if it's the cut or whatever, but they LOOK like they should be shorter than the other pair). I hate that they have a button fly (i find them so annoying!!!) but i like the style enough to deal with it.

    As for whether you should order up, Levis DOES advise sizing up with these. I ignored that, b/c I was worried that if i ordered these shorts too big they would look like a saggy diaper on me, but now i think one size bigger would be okay, so i say go for it. They are 100 percent cotton, so they'll loosen up with wear, but they could also shrink depending on how you wash.

    Super cute shorts, not too short or long. Yes they have the paper label, it’s the outlet style, hence the price. That being said they fit and look exactly the same so I’m fine with it. The measurements are weird In the pictures, I went with the measurements off the Levi’s website and I would say they fit true to size, they don’t have any stretch but they do “loosen” in the waste and leg as you wear them.
