What can I say, it does everything it advertises. The food we have made has been delicious. There are so many options . This appliance replaces and compliments other appliances in the kitchen so well. We purchased this mostly to replace our slow cooker and rice cooker. It is spacious and easily fits a 6-8lb rotisserie chicken.
One of my favorite personal recipes is my potato soup. I loved to use a slow cooker to cook the potatoes for 12 hours and they would come out so soft and moist, that they would melt in your mouth, but they still retained their cubed shape (did not turn to mush). Using the pressure cooker on this Ninja Foodi has cut that time down imensly to about an hour.
The thermometer that is included is simply a great accessory and allows it to cook to a specific temperature. When not in use, it has convenient storage on the side of the appliance. It is quite hefty and does not take up a lot of room considering what appliances it is replacing. The smart lid on this model is so convenient.
I wonder if they might have included a splatter shield for the smart lid, Perhaps that could not be used on this smart lid because of the pressure cooker. if it could, that would be a nice addition. The appliance has been easy to clean so far, especially if you clean it immediately.
I would like to see more accesories and cook books for this particular model. One accesory I found difficult to find that was specific to the Ninja Foodi, were magnetic charts with large fonts to show the tables for cooking that are in the book that is included with the appliance. My eyesight is not as good as it used to be and I need to use a magnifying glass to read the tables. There are lots of charts for Instapot and generic. But I notice the temperature and times are different than the tables in the Ninja Foodi included recipe book. I did manage to find ONE magnetic chart that seem to have the temperatures for the Ninja, but it is always nice to have variety that might have better fonts or layouts or additional information.
Overall though, I am amazed by this appliance and believe it is one of the best investments we have made.

WOW! SO IMPRESSED
Wow, this new kitchen device has me speechless! Coming from a busy working mama of 2 young kids, this saves me so much time everyday. Less time I spend in the kitchen means more time I can spend with my family. I knew I wanted a pressure cooker and did so many reviews/research before buying the Ninja Smart Pressure Cooker. Pressure cookers have always intimated me which is why I never bought one but now kicking myself for not getting one sooner! I love to cook and it never bothered me to spend time in the kitchen but now I can still make a delicious meal and havemore time to relax at night.Pros:I really thank Ninja for creating an easy to read instruction manual. As a first time buyer of a pressure cooker I really needed a good manual to read over to learn how to use the device. I really liked it also came with a recipe book. I love that I can make a 3 course meal. I know some of the insta pots you can’t tier your food and I really like the option that I can. The air fryer is great and the 8 qt basket is big enough to make my kids their tenders/fries. I have not yet made a whole chicken but I’m really curious how the thermometer works. The last thing I really love is the multi function lid. That was a big selling point for me because I wanted a multi function unit but only wanted 1 lid. I don’t have a lot of storage and ninja blew the design out of the water. It’s so simple yet so functional to just slide the lever depending on if you want to pressure cook, air fry or steam.Cons:The cooker is very heavy and bulky. You won’t want to put this away and take it out every time you use it due to the weight. This isn’t really a con for me since I don’t mind leaving on my counter but for someone who doesn’t like things on their counter, it could be a con. The stainless part of the cooker like any stainless is hard to keep clean. It’s fingerprint galore but looks sharp when it’s clean!If you are a first time buyer or just wanting to upgrade, I’d definitely get this! If you have a big family just go ahead and get the 8 quart like I did. This is a very expensive machine but I do think it’s worth it! This unit basically replaced all my oven baked meals! Thank you ninja for creating an esthetically pleasing a yet easy to use cooker. Like all Ninja products, they never fail to disappoint.
