The area is very run down and doesn't look safe to walk in the evening. The hotel's restaurant wasn't open and you had to walk a few blocks in an "unsafe" area to find dining. I would not stay here again.

Staff was very helpful and courteous. The hotel was actually beautiful aesthetically but it was probably the noisiest place I have ever stayed. Most of the time I thought someone was in my room to be honest. Floors were very loud and the people upstairs felt like they were right next to me. Not sure I could recommend this place again based on that unfortunately.

It has a lovely lobby-- cool vibe-- yet VERY disappointing to discover no bar/lounge as advertised on their own site, Expedia, and other sites. The area is not great-- and a bar/restaurant on the property as advertised was the reason I chose the hotel. The room was just ok-- a shame for it is a lovely building with great potential.

Request room not facing street
Overall a decent hotel in a good location walking distance to shops and restaurants, but our rooms faced the street and the noise level was very loud and the curtains and shades are not light dampening enough so our sleep wasn’t very good.
