I bought this to replace an aging Magnalite saute pan. I couldn't be more pleased. Nice even heating, and fairly easy to clean. Before I bought this pan, i read a few reviews say it discolored, and was difficult to clean. I didn't find this to be the case. You have to read the instructions, and follow the directions concerning pre-heating the pan. I also will always de-glaze the pan before washing it, and after washing, do a water rinse, a vinegar rinse, and a final water rinse. I've used mine a lot since purchasing, and it still looks great. Buy with confidence.

When heated (on medium heat) on my glass cooktop the center of the pan rises up into a slight peak, enough that the oil goes to the edges of the pan and food sticks to the center of the pan. This is clearly not a good thing!
I would hope that I'd get a refund for this obviously defective object.
