Scales well, time is still time. Has an app i guess

I dont anything other then the scale and timer, but it is a pleasant and seamless experience every time. I dont have to fight with the scale ever, and it being rechargeable is fantastic.

It does however make my scales at work feel like toys, which is something of a downside i suppose.

I love the accompanying app, Brewguide, and Flow Rate monitoring. If you’re a true coffee geek you’ll appreciate all of the Acaia bells and whistles!

Faulty micro-USB plug.

Somewhat bummed and disappointed. After willing to foot $200 for a coffee scale, I was very disappointed to see that the micro USB jack cannot be fully inserted into the scale and once inserted is not very secured. My unit had a 5mm gap exposing the metal part of the jack to the scale. For this scale, I would have expected better QA on the USB ports. It appears that this is considered normal and within the tolerance of ACAIA, but not for me. As such, I am returning the scale and wait for them to improve the design before considering to buy.

Really like the sleek look. It is fairly easy to use. Still learning some of the basics.
Battery last a long time. Have used for weeks without charging so far. Custom setting through the app are great. Love the Brewguide option and use that daily.
