This watch's aesthetic screams military issue, but it wouldn't survive a day in boot camp. Don't wear it to the gym, don't wear it in your workshop, don't wear it camping.
The truth is, field watches need acrylic crystals. I wore this watch at a desk job for a couple weeks, and split the crystal in half while polishing it with my shirt. If there was an impact to the crystal, it wasn't enough to register in my memory. I've worn vintage watches for decades without a single broken crystal— both domed and mineral glass, but crucially never together. While looking into this issue I found several other owners with the same issue, surprised by a split crystal while handling the watch in a normal way.
I'm getting mine repaired, likely at my own dime since Hamilton lists crystals as a warranty exclusion. Then I'm reselling it, because I can't think of any use for a field watch with a fragile crystal.

見た目も言うことなし。
ただ、この形状の風防でミネガラスは少し不安かな。
