Just a great jacket. Beautiful fabric, great cut and drape, fits perfectly. Probably my favorite in the closet (and it's a pretty full closet).
I purchase a lot online and never have I received something in this price range that arrived in such poor condition. The garment was balled up and needs professional dry cleaning. It either was either previously worn, messed up, then returned, and then comically expected to be received as "new" or it was first dropped on the dirty shop floor and then scooted around a bit before it was zipped into the rectangular garment bag that was then scrunched up and stuffed in a cube shaped box. It is an embarassment for you if this is your express mail service for a $700 jacket.
As far as fit goes, though it's hard to tell because of the overall poor appearance, the jacket sleeves are a full 3/4 inch shorter than all of my 48it jackets which supposedly equate to American 38R. I guess the Todd Snyder arm to body scale is way off compared to other 38R and 48eu I have purchased in this price category. I'm 6ft 165lb but very lean through the lower body so a 40R is too sloppy unless the jacket is a slim cut. It's a shame that it's hard to trust your brand now, because I would have even spent the money to lengthen this particular jacket's sleeve had it not arrived like a Goodwill donation because the color and texture are exactly what I have been looking for. Instead I will return it because of the condition of the garment upon receipt.
