Take these old sails back to the beach! Made entirely from old sails rescued from sailboats - this easy tote takes advantage of the amazing durability, stiffness and lightness that sailcloth offers. No two are the same, embrace the individuality created by scars from a previous life at sea.

Upcycled Sailcloth

We collect from sailors, old sails that are no longer fit for the sea and give them new life as a hand crafted bag. Sails are stretched out on our table where we remove the hardware and ropes and hand cut each bag using scissors. The attention to detail that this arduous process provides is much higher than our normally high standards. Reflecting their former life on a sailboat, the cloth may have stitching, extra seams, or if you are lucky, numbering.

The amazing qualities of sailcloth inspired the collection - stiff, light and durable. But we fell in love with the process of cutting old sails and transforming them into new bags, the patina of the sailboat living on.
