Klättermusen

Named after a well-known Swedish children’s book character, Klättermusen was founded in 1975 in the mountain village of Åre in Sweden by a group of local climbers. It started out as a DIY workshop lead by biologist and chemist Peter Askulv, who began creating his own gear while on paternity leave. The label combines Scandinavian minimalism with technical innovation and a strong focus on sustainability. Every garment is rigorously tested in real world conditions and crafted primarily from recycled or organic materials. Look out for considered details and fabric choices, such as diagonal zips to keep out rain or wind and water-resistant EtaProof® cotton separates.
