MUDGEAR - MADE TOUGHER
MUDGEAR IS MADE TOUGHER. MudGear builds socks, performance apparel, and gear for modern hybrid athletes competing in OCR, Rucking, Trail Running, Hybrid Fitness, and Endurance Events.
Normal testing of compression socks involves stretching them to measure the strength and passing them through a simple abrasion test to see how quickly they show wear. Our testing involves putting them on the world's top obstacle racers and trail runners for trips up and down mountains all day in all types of weather.

The full-length MudGear Compression Obstacle Race sock is a tribute to the nasty gashes suffered by OCR racers at the hands of long rope traverses and painful slides across rusty metal poles. This is the only compression sock we know about that is built with a layer of padding on the lower leg and calf that protects from rope burn and other injuries. They are simply great mud run socks. |
In an obstacle race your feet will be covered with water and mud, especially in barbed wire crawls or river walks. Our OCR compression socks offer superior drainage that will keep you light and moving throughout the race like a champ. With a tight fit on your feet, the socks will also help keep any debris from getting into your shoes and in the way. |
The difference comes from 168 needlepoint compression and tough construction that provides good compression with superior abrasion resistance compared to gym quality compression socks and sleeves. The back of the calf features an extra layer of protection that still drains well and remains light for long distance courses. |
