I am OBSESSED with these shoes. I seriously want to wear them everyday. They make every outfit look cooler and they’re very flattering. They do run pretty big, however. I have very small feet and usually wear a size 5.5 or 6. I got the 5 in these, which is the smallest size available and they fit like a 6. I put inserts in though and they’re perfect. They do take some time to break in but once you do, they’re do worth it. The platform sole is not too chunky, but just chunky enough. A classic shoe that’s perfect for fall!

I didn't love the look of these as much as other Doc Martens -- they're more pointed in the toe than classic Docs, which I find much less appealing, but there was still lots to like and they would serve me for formal work stuff if they only fit right. That was the kicker. I wore them around the house ... ever hopeful that the narrowness across the middle of my foot (side to side, not on top) would ease, but I can't deny it: my wider foot needs a more accommodating shoe, and this was the first Doc M that has squeezed me there.

I'm very dissapointed. I've had these shoes 6 months, I wear them to an office every day, so i'm certainly not hard on them; They don't get wet, and I shine them with the martens balm every week. ALREADY, They've worn a hole on the right side where my pinky toe rests, which is ridiculous. These are supposed to be durable, long lasting shoes. And considering i've had 30 dollar cheap dress shoes in the past last longer than this, well lets just say i'm not happy about spending over 100$ on something that didn't even last for a year.

Needs time to be broken in but perfect nonetheless.
