It was on my wish list for a long time because it looks sort of scary. Finally I bought it but it didn't seem to work. I emailed Tweezerman a few questions. They said it doesn't need batteries & to keep squeezing it. That's the trick. You have to keep squeezing because it's a mechanical device. So what's really wrong is the video tutorial . It's just nice music and a cute guy but no real instruction. Also the little machine is silent which makes one think it isn't working. I am so happy I gave it a chance.

Love this Deluxe Trimmer is perfect and the size is perfect.

Great all around product. you can definitely find something that will do the job and not cost as much, but my philosophy is: "if its well made, and well designed, pay a little more." Everything I purchased works great, and seems to be made to last for a long time. Win/win.

Tweezerman products

A bit slow to use, but I think the initial sharpness of the blades will last unlike noisy battery spinners that work for a few weeks and then just make noise. And I think you would have to really try hard to cut yourself with these, so I am happy.

Better than a battery spinner, for sure

This definitely works and it's great for travel in particular. The issue is that it sometimes pulls on nose hairs (v. cutting them), which isn't the best. It's also slightly difficult to clean (would be nice if cutting head could be dis-assembled a bit more). I may or may not recommend in the future - will have to see how it holds up over time.

Great idea and it does work, just needs better execution

This came without any instructions and while it's pretty obvious how it works, I was dubious that it would work. My husband says it's fine, but when I tried it, it pulled hair instead of cutting it.

Not sure this is as good as expected

I love Tweezerman products and this is honestly the first time I've ever had an issue! It seems to tug on hairs a lot of the time instead of cutting. Not sure if that's because it's not sharp enough, or a blade alignment issue, or what. It does eventually get the job done, but it's not as comfortable to use as I had hoped it would be.

I had bought this for my husband and hadn't realized the clip was broken making it useless. He thought it was a great idea, but was disappointed that the clip was broken.

Great idea... but

Wish I could give it ZERO stars. I had such high hopes but this is TERRIBLE. It does not cut, it pulls the hairs. It is supposed to work by squeezing the lever which rotates the blades to cut. But the blades are not sharp and so it ends up grabbing and pulling the hairs out. Then, at one point it also got jammed while not cutting but grasping the nose hairs and I had to fiddle with it to release.
