These boots meet all my discerning (super picky) needs. I want something easily slipped on/off (these even have a built-in, reinforced ridge for toeing them off), high enough to keep mud and water out and off my pants, with treads deep enough to keep mud from caking and tracking everywhere, durable and heavy duty enough to wear during light construction, and actually comfortable. These boots are all of the above and the comfort level is incredible. Also, they breathe far better than expected and my feet don't overheat but also don't freeze when it's freezing outside. The only disappointment is the lack of half sizes but I understand why there aren't and it won't prevent me from re-purchasing when this pair has got to go. (I wear a women's 9.5 US and purchased a men's 8 US because the 7 would have been just a hair too small.) I won't buy a different kind of boot for this type of work ever again. Caterpillar/CAT does not disappoint. I paid full price for these and this ringing endorsement is entirely due to how pleased I am with this purchase.
