This Uroko notebook features a unique index tab system. Each page has four perforated tabs, each a different shade of gray, which can be labeled and folded up to mark the page's location. The pages are shaped so that the folded tabs don't stick up past the top edge of the cover, protecting the tabs from getting crinkled or torn.

The colors of the Uroko notebooks are inspired by the city of Tokyo. The white and black notebooks represent the gleam and shadows of sunlight hitting the city's skyscrapers; the green notebooks represent the city's many parks and gardens; and the orange notebooks represent Tokyo Tower.
