Not what you are paying for.

Not what you are paying for.
Not exactly what picture shows. Close. The front straps they indicate in the pictures for slipping a coat or umbrella into simply dont exist (picture attached). Overall quality is fine. Also, to mention its recycled material; overall quality seems fine, but why send it in a box 3 times to big, filled to the brim with plastic air bags. While recyclable, wouldnt it be more efficient, better for environemt to use less plastic in the first place in the packaging. Good on Solo NY for using plastic to make it, but kinda defeats the purpose if you are adding a bunch just to deliver it. Wouldnt purchase again, no material defects or problems and not worth the damage to ship it back since the front straps dont exist....

2.0 out of 5 stars Not durable!
Reviewed in the United States on December 25, 2023
I bought it from another store, but after only 3 months of use, some compartments tore apart! As you can see in the pictures, the handle (which supposed to be the strongest part) is torn apart, although I usually don’t overload the bag! Also the bottle holder is a mesh and is not as durable as you would first think.

3.0 out of 5 stars Okay Little Pack :)
Reviewed in the United States on November 22, 2020
As an Amazon Vine Voice, I was curious about this backpack so I agreed to receive it (free of cost) and review it. The concept of it being made from recycled bottles is kinda cool :)

Looking at the pack, it's aesthetically pleasing with nice fabric, good overall design, and seemingly quality zippers. I wouldn't consider it super durable, but it could be used daily - I suppose!

The comfort factor is apparent with lots of padding for spinal and shoulder areas. Although, the top handle is not padded, which I found odd since that could be uncomfortable if loaded down with some significant weight.

The inside is one big compartment with no additional pockets inside - except the pocket for a laptop. The pocket will hold a 15.6" size device, and I did test that with my laptop. And, the pack is padded BUT......I don't know if I would feel comfortable relying on this pack to protect my laptop because the padding isn't really that dense.

The outer part of the pack has two pocket compartments including a mini pen and small items organizer. There is also a key holder (strap with a plastic hook).

Overall, I am not crazy about this pack. I mean, it's "okay". For the price-point, I feel it is over priced for what you are getting. I think the main attraction is you would be supporting a green item; thus, it's environmentally friendly, and the company contributes to The National Forest Foundation (SUPER COOL).

I probably won't tote my laptop around in it, but I will use the pack for day outings and that sort of thing. Thus, my rating of 3 stars isn't because the item isn't good, it's just not amazingly impressive for the price.
