Product Description

Bundle includes: Luigi's Mansion 3 and Multiplayer Pack DLC

Luigi's dream vacation turns into a ghostly—and gooey— nightmare!

Luigi embarks on a dream vacation with Mario and friends upon receiving an invitation to a luxurious hotel. However, his dream quickly becomes a nightmare when King Boo reveals everything had been a ploy to capture Mario and friends. With the assistance of Professor E. Gadd once again, the reluctant and cowardly hero Luigi traverses up and down treacherous floors of the now-ominous hotel on a quest to save them.

Wield the upgraded Poltergust G-00 to slam and blow away the ghosts' defenses, or summon Gooigi, an all-green doppelganger that can help Luigi overcome obstacles he can't get past alone. Interchange between Luigi and Gooigi as one player, or grab a friend and control one each. For more frenetic multiplayer action, race the timer to clear various objectives on a series of floors in ScareScraper mode. ScareScraper mode can be played online* or locally with up to eight players on four Nintendo Switch systems (additional games required; sold separately).

He may still be cowardly, but Luigi has more tools and abilities at his disposal than ever before. Master Luigi's new powerful moves of Slam, Suction Shot and BurstTeam up with Professor E. Gadd's latest invention, Gooigi, an all-green doppelganger able to slip through tight spaces, walk on spikes, and otherwise help Luigi overcome obstacles he can't get past alone. Interchange between Luigi and Gooigi as one player, or grab a friend and control one each at the same time. Explore the Last Resort, ascending through its differently themed floors full of quirky contraptions and haunting enemies. Race the timer with up to 8 players** to clear objectives on a series of floors in the ScareScraper.

The ghost hunt continues with the Luigi's Mansion™ 3 Multiplayer Pack DLC! This DLC adds chilling-yet-charming costumes that Luigi can sport in the ScareScraper mode and matching themes that transform the look of the tower’s floors! Keep your flashlight close, because new surprises might even be found lurking the halls of this ghoulish gauntlet! Luigi's Mansion 3: Multiplayer Pack DLC Bundle includes Multiplayer Packs 1 and 2 DLC. DLC costumes only works in multiplayer mode and not main campaignMultiplayer Pack 1 includes:New Costumes: Groovigi (disco), Mummigi (mummy), and The Green KnightMatching floor theme and themed ghosts.New Mini Games: Tricky Ghost Brawl, Dodge Brawl, and River BankMultiplayer Pack 2 includes:New Costumes: Cap'n Weegee (Pirate), The Amazing Luigi (suit/large top hat), and Paleontoluigist (archaeologist/ paleontologist...basically Luigi with safari hat)Matching floor themes and themed ghosts based off costumes.New mini games: PuckStravaganza, Floaty Frenzy, and Desperate Measures.Onto the review:Typical Luigi Mansion game. Use Polterguest to solve creative puzzles. This time, there are new abilities to play around with---Story:Mario, Peach, and Toads are kidnapped during their stay at a hotel. Luigi goes through haunted hotel to save them.---GraphicsWay better than past games with excellent lighting and textures. Love the characters facial and body animations in this game as it gives them a lot of personality. Most objects are not bolted to the ground so you can interact with them. One of the best looking games on the Nintendo Switch---Gameplay:--Poltergust G-00:Main vacuum weapon of this game. Way too overpowered especially with the slam move. No Ghostbusters drag tug-o-war in this game. Most enemies are taken out by shining light to stun them, then suck them up, slam them till they burst into coins.Combat is pretty weak, but the puzzle elements are really funAble to suck up items/enemies, blow air out.Use Light and Dark flashlight like in the 'Dark Moon' gameSuction shot: shoot a plunger to attach and throw heavy objectsBurst attack: shoot down dust to jump, move ground items out of the waySlam: suck up ghosts by the tail and slam them around like Hulk did to Loki the Avenger's movie--Guigi:A goo or slim version of Luigi.Able to go between vents, spikes and other objectsBut is weak to water and he'll melt like the witch from the Wizard of OzYou Switch between Luigi and Guigi to pull levers simultaneously, hit switches at different locations, hold an object, boost up another player, etcA second player can drop in-out at anytime to play Guigi. More fun with more a second player.Even though regular enemies are easy to take down, boss battles are creative puzzles in itself and a major highlight of the gameDifferent themes each floor. Levels are separate and not interconnected like past games. You move through levels from the elevatorMain highlight are the creative environmental puzzles and use of various abilities from Poltergust G-00 and Guigi to solve themCollectables: 6 unique optional jems on each floor. They are well hidden, encourages exploration--Multiplayer modes:Scare Scraper: Local or online. Play 5 or 10 randomly generated floors with up to 4 players. Must beat floor within time frame. There's not much teamwork as you can essentially beat the mode by yourself if it weren't for the time limit. You just need more people to cover more ground.Scream park: local mini games similar to Mario Party. Up to 8 players, but team based and need even number of people to playOverall: very good sense of accomplishment when solving puzzles. Game has a lot of charm to it with fun characters and enemies.
