a) It's portable and with the carrying bag that comes with it I've already thrown it in my car for a quick overnight camping trip. (pic)
b) Whatever you put it it burns down to a small amount of ash that is easily shaken out by just turning it over and doing a quick shake.
c) It's so so easy to keep the fire going... once you've got it burning it you don't need to mess with it other than adding wood. Wood placement doesn't matter since anything that goes in burns regardless of where it goes. You also don't need to "tend" the fire or move things around.. set it and forget it :)
d) it's not that hot underneath and i've put it on my composite deck with just a thin fireproof mat. Amazing amount of heat without damaging things nearby.
e) looks amazing
What I don't like: (it's a short list)
a) The bag that it came seems pretty well made including a strong drawstring.. but a seam ripped and I'll need to repair it since I really like to use the carry case.
c) It stains easy.. my son got some marshmallow on it and while i haven't tried to get it off it did discolor.
d) people have mentioned it rusts quickly so I got paranoid when i had to leave it out in the rain camping... it dried out with a morning fire but i'm hopeful it doesn't rust. Will update my review if it does.
It's worth the money. Hopefully it lasts forever because I don't see every wanting another firepit.
