I love Garmin products for their ruggedness and reliability.   I have a 10 year old Garmin GPS, a 5 year old Garmin edge bike computer, and I used my non-solar Garmin Instinct daily for 3 years.  I've had no problems with them and they have been through lots of abuse and some pretty epic bicycle crashes.  I upgraded to the solar version of the instinct because I wanted to do 3-5 day off the grid bikepacking events without worrying about the charge on my watch.  Bingo, this watch fits the bill.  In three weeks of use, with daily fitness tracking that varies from 30-120 minutes, this watch has been on the charger once.  It didn't even need to be charged because it was still at 62%.  The picture I attached is after a 1 hour ride into work this morning in the dark.  After I ride home in the daylight, it will be topped off again.  It is also very easy to use the Garmin Connect app.  It easily links up with Strava and my Rowerg app to send and record my workouts.

Great smart watch for outdoors people or athletes.

I do a lot of beck country hiking and hunting. I love the GPS and the fact that it will recharge itself.

Love my new watch

My wife bought me this Garmin instinct solar watch for my birthday. She saw this watch on the YouTube channel TOGR with Luke he does reviews on camping stuff and he is very honest and agenda free we trust what he says he has a Garmin instinct solar watch and he really likes its features and gave it great reviews. I'm pleased with it but still getting used to its features. I wish they explained better so I can take full advantage of all its features is my only concern. The watch is eye caching and it looks great.
