I made my first guitar strap when I couldn't find anything I liked to go with a new Fender Telecaster Guitar. I went to an automotive upholstery shop to get all the materials and bought a heavy duty sewing machine and got started while living on the couch in my friend's living room. Years later and we've shipped almost 30,000 individual orders off Etsy and I can't believe it! There are ten of us here now in a newly expanded 3,500 square foot warehouse in Long Beach California. We have the coolest combination of old, vintage, and state-of-the-art machinery that makes up our California Workshop where we make your guitar strap, camera strap or wallet each day at Couch. Did I mention we also use tons of vintage auto and furniture upholstery vinyl to make your stuff? We make the world's best guitar straps and that's a fact:-) Rock! Dan, Couch.
