- Reviewed in the United States on July 1, 2022My wife upgraded from a Samsung active 2 to the fenix 6s.
And it is like day and night .
The battery seems to last forever.. the specific sport tracking features are super useful when you are training and want to make sure you see fitness improvements.
Also hiking and using navigate there are super useful features.
The watch takes a little getting into understanding the operation but once that's understood it's great... just the price could be a little lower :)
- Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2021Upgraded to this after using a 735xt for the past 3 years, which then died. The Fenix 6S pro is a better watch, has more features and workout options. I like the availability of maps right on the watch. It does cost a holy fortune, however, just like everything else for triathletes.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 13, 2022this is my 3rd fenix won't use anything else very sturdy and well built, i do cycle, Run and open water Swim. the only thing is when it completely runs out of battery it takes forever for it to reload maps and software . Also the pairing feature with Iphone messaging isn't the best, but i do not really use for messages i use for sport watch and activity tracking

- Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2022Versus the 5 plus this is a terrific upgrade, particularly with respect to the software. Thus far the gps tracking is... better smoothed? Less wrong? The menus pop up aggressively in a way that is first aggravating, but then insistent in a good way, then - wow, that's f'ing perfect.
Everything else works fabulously and possession of this watch somehow entitles you to an upgrade in the Garmin ecosphere with more data, different (better) screens, more helpful insights (apart from being told to "go get some more steps" as if that is a particularly meaningful statistic when one is well over 10k/day)
The 6 S plus is extraordinarily light, not much harder to read if at all, doesn't appear larger than one's hand, fits under dress shirt cuffs and does not leap commandingly out of virtually any coat, jacket, or sweater as if to say "look at me!". No regrets on the purchase price - expensive but entirely worth it. And it's retired the swiss watches without a second glance.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 5, 2021I have had lots of Garmin watches. Ever since they started making them. They always had issues with UI and battery life. But the way they display stats while exercising makes up for any issues. For activity they blow Apple out of the water. Now this one has all the pending fixes. they easily quadruple the battery life of past watches, they added O2 sensor. I personally do not like touchscreen watches since while you run your hands are all sweaty. The fenix is all buttons. The best way a watch should be, you can do things without looking. Only issues I have with Garmin on all past versions and current, is the charge port. This watch will have to deal with sweat and the port will get glitchy over time. Best Garmin yet, and best activity tracker on the market. No question. A bit expensive, but worth it.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 12, 2021I like the features. I recommend watching some of the youtube videos on this to learn how to get the most out of this feature-packed watch. I say this is better suited as a girls watch because the face is smaller than my fexix 3xl, and the watchband is on its last holes. I typically wear a men's large glove and my wrist is medium-sized. This is the first watch that I've had this issue with. Also, on the fenix 3xl, it was easy-ish to change the watchband. I don't know if this watchband can be replaced. I find the sunrise/sunset information one of the features that I'm liking a lot. I have very different activity modes on weekends than I do during the week, and the stats that this captures highlight this very well.
NOTE: I bought this when my Garmin Fenix 3xl appeared to be dead. After I bought this, I got to playing with my old Fenix and brought it back to life. When I tried to return this unopened, Amazon said that I could only return it if it was defective or DOA. Buyer be warned.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beats my G-Shock, Samsung hands down and eats Apple...😄
Without solar-charging you can get more than a week's use out of it. Could be even better if Garmin has wireless charging though.

5.0 out of 5 stars Muy buen reloj
El reloj tiene muchas funciones avanzadas, es muy bonito. Para mí, el tamaño ideal sería el del fénix 6 (47 mm) ya que si es notable la diferencia con el 6s (42 mm) pero pues ya es cuestión de gustos.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fenix, lo mejor para outdoors

4.0 out of 5 stars Buena compra.
