Works well and does everything my Roku TV will do.  Loads from laptop, where as the Roku Tv set up somewhat different.  The end results are the same.  Need HDMI port and my USB port did not put out enough juice I used the included extension and plugged power into AC.  Works great.

Cut the Cord

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great price and great for using on older TV's that don't have great wifi. The plus on this is that the remote controls the volume on the tv as well, no need to double fist it with the TV remote.

My cable company was no longer available so I signed up for more streaming channels and needed 2 more Roku for my other tvs and already had one for a while so decided to get the same one again. I really like how you can turn the tv on and adjust the volume so you only have one remote. Definitely recommend.

The whole family loves it

Love Roku products!  Best streaming device.  Easy to set up, use and great channel layout.

Not user-friendly but works

Going from Xfinity to Roku I found the remote a little difficult  and confusing to use. It's not as user friendly as a lot of other remotes. Took me forever to figure out how to get back to live TV from a rewind. I'm saving money off of cable, but navigation is a bit awkward.

Takes awhile to get used to.

My Roku Streaming Stick 4K is less than 7 months old. The volume button doesn't work all the time, and now the arrow buttons are skipping over the program selections. In addition, the customer service is absent. I guess I'll go to the Amazon Fire Stick next.

Needs Work

I bought this a year ago. Lately, it's started to freeze and restart Roku on my tv. There is no red light on the streaming player. The wi-fi receiver is not located near exposed input ports or resting on other electronic devices. Also, my wi-fi signal is strong—the tv is only a few feet from my router. Roku has no tech support phone, and the instructions that come with the Stick have no troubleshooting information. I wasted my money. I do not recommend this product.

Not Worth It

I've owned several Roku models and have never had much luck with the sticks because the remotes never seem to work. But it had been a few years since I tried a stick so I thought the problems must have been worked out by now.

Nope. 

The remote just doesn't work consistently. It will work for a few button pushes, then stop responding. The TV volume and power still work, but the RF talking to the stick just stops. New batteries?  Didn't work.  HDMI extender?  Nope. USB plugged directly into the wall?  Nope.  Updating the device?  Done, no help. Nothing works. 

And the sad part is I replaced an existing 3800X with this because of… remote problems.  Back it goes and a new Ultra is on the way, hopefully the new rechargeable remote doesn't have the same issues.
