cons-slowest drying polish i’ve ever used. easy to smear while waiting.

overall one of the best polishes ever. just be aware of dry time.

I am pleased and surprised by this color. Is is a very pretty soft white. It isn't sheer nor opaque. I put 1 coat on. It isn't a start bright white. Very pretty alone or as a lower coat to mademoiselle light pink. I put 2 coats of mademoiselle on top with a glossy top coat and Essie base coat. It's my experiment to create a milky pink. I am pleased. I will try putting marshmallow alone on my toes. I do not care for the opaque start whites. This is softer like a marshmallow cloud. I recommend this product. It came wrapped in bubble wrap before being put in a box. Arrived safely.

I wanted to like this, and I've tried it twice. One or two coats came out streaky even with a base coat. Anything more, the color starts to stand out, which does not go well with my medium warm, olive skin tone. I think it tends to reflect more cool tones, making your nail bed look a bit odd. It's more pigmented than other sheer polishes I've tried.

I was pretty much having to redo or touch up my nails daily with this. It's a shame because it is just a true pitch black color and could be a one coat black but better with two coats. Just not worth it for how much it chipped and peeled compared to other polish. Usually love Essie brand so this is definitely a huge let down.
Used "here to stay" base coat and "gel-setter" top coat along with it which I usually don't have many problems with.
