Product Description

The Cabernet glass is perfect for full-bodied, complex red wines that are high in tannin. The generous size of this glass allows the bouquet to develop fully, and smooths out the rough edges. These glasses from the Vinum collection from Riedel are a great value for the quality and pleasure they give you. I enjoy drinking wine in a well made, thin border wine glass. These ones are the perfect size for me. You need to be careful when cleaning them because they will break. I buy a new set from time to time to ensure I have my set complete. I always buy the Cabernet set. This time I decide to buy the mixed set with 4 glasses for Pinot Noir! They are amazing!
This product also makes a great gift option as they are good and present well.

Two of the glasses in the shipment arrived broken. Amazon handled it amazingly well and replaced the entire set. I think the whole thing could have been avoided by better packaging by Riedel and better handling by Amazon.

Having said that, I absolutely love Riedel stemware and as I said, they are supposed to be delicate. That property is what makes them special. They may just need some extra packaging to protect them.
