I had a Orthopdic pillow similar shape a dense foam that my dr recommended I used it 65 nights it was okay then I had a friend tell me about this pillow. Honestly I was hesitant because the price was $170 for the king size crescent pillow. But I could return it so I took the leap —- I got it it was a sunny day I took a sheet put it on my outdoor table I emptied the little soft cross shaped foam pieces onto it — boy do they stink when they arrive and I couldn’t wait the recommended 24 hrs to use this — I lightly sprayed the pieces with an essential oil and tossed them they sat in the sun outside about 3 hrs then I washed the pillow case and the case that holds the foamYou also get a bag of extra foam I used all of this on my pillow to get the feel that I wanted when it was time to reassemble my pillow I put the soft foam pieces into the case then put in the pillow case I shook it several times then I put int in my dryer Air dry for 15-20 to fluff it up It took 2 nights to get the pillow to my desired shape NEVER IN MY LIFE WOULD I THINK I PAY FOE AND OWN A $170.00 PILLOW BUT I DID AND I DO AND THIS PILLOW WILL NEVER BE GOING BACK —- This pillow is AMAZING And NO I AM NOT GETTING PAY FOR OR HAVE I RECEIVED A DISCOUNT TO POST THIS REVIEW this is me a mom who was in a car wreck over 25+ yrs ago who needs a pillow to support her neck and up until the Ortho pillow my dr recommended honestly my Ralph Lauren pillow did the trick I went thru 15 of his pillow but the newer ones a made with a different material — I was searching and looking for a replacement that would give me a good night sleep not waking up with a terrible neck ache —- SO PLEASE CONSIDER THIS PILLOW YOU CAN RETURN IF IT DIESNT DO FOR YOU WHAT IT DID FOR ME Again I’d give it 20 stars if I could
