How often should I apply Dewy Body Lotion?

We would recommend using it daily for optimal results; however we like to use it anytime our skin needs it! Apply whenever your skin feels dry for quick hydration.

What amount of Dewy Body Lotion should I use per application

It all depends on how much area you want to cover. Pump away!

Can I use Dewy Body Lotion on my face, or will it clog my pores?

We formulated Dewy Body Lotion with the intention of it being like a face cream for your body. Not too greasy or watery, it was made to hydrate your skin and is balanced at the optimal body pH. If you want to use it on your face, try it on a small area at first, as the skin on your face may react to products differently (and can even have a different pH) than the skin on your body.

Why does this lotion contain alcohol?

Our lotion is actually alcohol-free! We do not use solvent alcohol or ethanol (ethyl alcohol), which you typically find in many skincare products. Instead we use fatty alcohols (derived from coconut or sustainable palm), which are used as emollients and thickeners. They are not irritating and can be very beneficial for your skin. As described in FDA regulation: ”Cosmetic products, including those labeled ‘alcohol free,’ may contain other alcohols, such as cetyl, stearyl, cetearyl, or lanolin alcohol. These are known as fatty alcohols, and their effects on the skin are quite different from those of ethyl alcohol.”
