Let’s be honest it did take me awhile to read this book, but the times I did pick it up, I couldn’t put it back down. There is nothing more heartier than revenge and this why I loved the book. The twists were layered out perfectly, even to the jaw dropping last sentence.
This book I went back & forth, with reading and audio, if I had to say a dislike it would be the audio near the first 1/3 of the book, the voice did not “grab you” in my opinion(if you know what I mean), but she, narrator, did pick it up in suspense as she read on, which made it so much better.
I recommended 5 stars because of the well played out suspense, twists from the writer, and being relatable to any scorned woman. The characters were very well written and it came across as if you knew them inside and out, by their true character and intentions as a fictional person.
A must read for anyone who enjoys the partake in karma, and to slowly watch a woman grow into her best self and overcome heartache.

This was a wild and sexy ride! I've read previous books by this author from her Fjallbacka series, but they didn't prepare me for this crazy, fun stand alone.Fay Adelheim is married to Jack, a rich and successful Swedish businessman and they have a young daughter.She has sacrificed everything for Jack, forgoing her education to help finance his climb to the top.But Jack isn't grateful, he's forgotten all she has done, and he treats her badly.After she finds out about one of his affairs, he dumps her for a younger woman.She is left with nothing, emotionally and financially.Devastated and infuriated, she begins to plot her revenge.
