I tend to sweat from my armpits quite a lot, especially when stressed even if I'm just sitting inside, and even the most strongly scented deodorants can't seem to keep that funky smell at bay. I've tried several different brands of antiperspirant/deodorant with aluminum-whatever concentrations of 20% and none could control the sweating/odor. Wanting to try reducing the chemicals I put on my skin, I decided to try the natural route even though I've always thought natural deodorants couldn't possibly be effective.
The first one I tried, Every Man Jack, confirmed this. Though the sandlewood smell of it was great, it wore off very quickly and I smelled like a yeti afterwards. It also did almost nothing for controlling perspiration, though it doesn't claim to. I then tried Schmidt's after reading some reviews and this stuff is legit! Perspiration is basically non-existent from stress and I still smell like the deodorant hours later. Even after a hard workout or a ride outside (in muggy South Florida), I barely smell and that's only if I stick my nose in my armpit. No more embarrassing wet pit marks on my shirts or needing to wash every shirt I wear even if worn for only a few hours!
Yes, I did get a slight rash for about the first week like others have noted but it wasn't bad at all. I imagine this was also from applying too much at first. Two strokes under each arm seems to be more than enough.
The only negative issue I have is the choice of scents and if my tablet would let me deduct half a star for this I would. I've tried the Cedarwood one and this Lavender one and the former smells too much like a wood box. This one is pleasant enough, I suppose, but a little too herbal for my preference. I of course could go the unscented route but I like having some scent. Hopefully they'll develop more scents but I can live with this one for now given how effective it is. Good job!

BEST NATURAL DEODORANT!
Ive tried MANY different kinds of natural deoderamt and this is BY FAR the best! It doesn't stain my clothes amd doesn't make me smell like b.o. the next day. And it really does keep the sweating to a minimum, which is amazing since it doesn't have aluminum in it!! Every other natural deodorant I've tried has left me feeling wet in the under arms and I end up smelling funky after a few hours. This stuff is truly amazing! HELPFUL HINT: For those that get rashes, it is because you have to warm the stick deodorant up before applying. I run my finger back and forty on it, until it's a little melted and all the bumps are dissolved(shown in picture) and then I apply to my arm put. Works like a charm! Definitely recommend! I use the Lavendar and Sage... YUM!
