90´s Choker: Blue Poppy

This Choker has been handmade following the ancestral practices of the Emberá, an Amerindian people who live in Colombia. Each piece is unique and original in its design and carries centuries of history and symbolism.

It is made up of hundreds of small glass beads called Czech beads and sewn together by hand. The origin of this craft dates back to the tribes that inhabited Colombia before Columbus, the tradition of its creation has been especially protected by the Emberá until today.
