- Ich werde jetzt erstmal "Always" und "I don't do drugs I do time" auf meinen mp3 spielen.
Very reflective and somewhat sad. This almost has the sound of a final album as if a slight breeze would blow out his flame. Done in single takes? These songs are like demos, quite rough vocals at times (When I was a young man) , seemingly half-finished, strange awkward lines that sometimes don't quite gel, slightly misplaced backing vocals, a few songs that you feel a band (obviously the Go-Betweens) would have knocked into something really special (Always) sometimes begging for a producer. But this is all deliberate, isn't it?
