The Story Behind the Name "Pepe Jeans"
The name and logo of the brand also have an interesting history. One day, Nitin Shah decided to shorten the original name and started calling the company PEPE. When Pepe's photographer stopped by to drop off a box of prints, he left a handwritten note that said "To: Pepe Jeans," and thus the new name was born. This handwritten note with scribbles also inspired the logo.
