Used this sunscreen to protect my face and body at a swim camp in Puerto Rico, spent 3 to 4 hours a day outdoor in direct sunlight. I have fair skin and burn easily. I applied a lot (went through a single tube in 3 days) and did not get a single sunburn in a week. Consistency is thick and very water resistant. This is a light cast but it goes away quickly upon absorption. Be aware that due to its thickness and great water resistance, it takes a couple of showers and a good scrub to remove it.
