Moisturizing sunscreen with vitamin E helps fight signs of skin aging due to sun exposure when used as directed with other sun protection measures. Vegan & 100% mineral active sunscreen is Hawaii Act 104 compliant & contains 21.6% zinc oxide. Formula not tested on animals and free of fragrances, parabens, sulfates, phthalates and mineral oil. Non-comedogenic so it won't clog pores or lead to breakouts. This Neutrogena sunscreen is water-resistant for up to 80 minutes & comes from a dermatologist recommended sun care brand. Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply: After 80 minutes of swimming or sweating; Immediately after towel drying; At least every 2 hours. Q: I bought this exact sunscreen but I cannot get the inner protective lid unstuck from the regular lid. Is there a way to get this lid out?

A: That happened to me. I used tweezers to get one of them out. The other one was super stuck so I put the lid from my empty sunscreen stick on the new one. Neutrogena really should fix this problem.

A: Hi there, that’s a great question! Some manufacturers use “fine particle”, “micronized” or “microfine” to describe sunscreen grades of zinc oxide. However there is no widely accepted definition for these terms. Some of our NEUTROGENA® Sun Protection Products contain titanium dioxide and/or zinc oxide. These ingredients provide broad spectrum UV protection that can help prevent sun damage and minimize whiteness on the skin. Rest assured, extensive scientific evaluations of these ingredients in sunscreens have shown that they do not penetrate human skin and the FDA agrees that these ingredients are safe. I like how it’s small can can take it anywhere with me. It leaves a bit of a white cast on but I just need to absorb it better. Anyway I like how it actually protects my skin from the sun and has no scent to it.
Always have it na the door just in case!

I love this Neutrogena SPF stick. As AZ girl this stays in my purse at all times. I know others have mentioned this leaving a white cast but I have not experienced such- this goes on smoothly and gives me a little glow. So convenient and mess free. No sunscreen in the eyes. 10/10 recommend!

I purchased this for our son who is extremely allergic to fragrances and many ingredients found in skin products. This was on his approved list from dermatologist. Overall, Happy with product. No sunburns. If rub in after applying no major white cast. Stick east for our 6 year old to use and great for face application. The things we didn’t like about it is it did NOT last long. Applies easily but unevenly. If you haven’t purchased stick sunblock, imagine a deodorant stick but imagine it only was used in the middle and not the sides. Uneven use of stick when applying to our son’s body. I will not be repurchasing. Wasn’t cost effective and our kids go out almost every day, multiple times. Solid product, stick version not so great.

Noticed after using it immediately the cap gets stuck and is hard to pull out again. I twist the stick up higher by like 1/4" because I'm constantly scraping against the plastic edges, but then it smushes against the cap. Disappointed at how thick and greasy it is compared to CeraVe mineral sunscreen stick, and the sunscreen falls off in clumps so you REALLY have to rub it in. I wouldn't recommend for easy application. What's the point of using a sunscreen stick applicator if you have to still rub it in by hand...

Doesn't leak, doesn't melt, doesn't feel toooo gross, doesn't make you look like a ghost. It does make you a little whiter, but not noticeably (at least not for someone with fair skin). This is basically my mineral sunscreen holy grail. The only thing I don't like is that the cap fits so tightly, when it gets down to the last little bit, the vacuum from removing the cap makes the little chunk fall out. But I'm willing to overlook that for everything I said above.
This is a great sunscreen. It goes on easily and there is no scent. It fits easily in my purse.

I was really pleasantly surprised by this sunscreen. The stick is smooth and creamy and applies nicely--not hard and cakey like most mineral sunscreen sticks. While this does leave a slight white cast, it's not too bad especially after you rub it in. I find it's nearly invisible on hairless skin, a very slight white cast on hairy skin. It's creamy, but I wouldn't call it oily or greasy. Not too dry either.

The stick form is great but it’s not at all what it claims to be. It’s not sheer. Leaves more whitecast than any other sunscreen I’ve used. I guess you could call it dry to the touch, but I never want to touch it again.

I used this product on my three fair skinned boys. I reapplied as needed. Their faces were demolished by the sun. They each got blisters on their noses and upper lips. It was so bad I had to take my youngest to the urgent care for antibiotics. We will never use this product again!

So, I was already using another sunscreen from the same brand and that one left my skin oily, until a friend told me about this version. Firstly, I like the practicality of sunscreen bars, however it leaves your face a little (not too much) white, so you need to spread it and have your fingers dirty if at all, a negative point. It's a drier protector which is good, but not enough that you won't notice it, it will still leave your skin slightly sticky, it doesn't smell... it's ok I would say..

Saturdays are my long runs, and I love my skin and am not so fond of the cancer thereof, so I bundle up like one of the three kings traveling across the desert before heading out the door (trust me, its very chic, very du juor) 😎 As much as I love my daily wear sunscreens, they just don't cut it for sweaty miles in the hills.🏔🥵 I have a second category of sunscreens called my "sporty spices". These are generally water resistant, sticky so they don't run into my eyes, and tough as nails... ...and blindingly white. 😂 I actually love this stick sunscreen from neutrogena, and it rubs in a bit less white cast, but is still noticeable. It's handy to put in a vest for touchups, and quite moisturizing without being runny. Listen, don't get me wrong, certain things must be sacrificed for longevity and robustness of the sporty spices, I get it...but the text on the back of some of these could be improved 😂

Excellent sunblock stick — I primarily use it around my eyes when I go out for a run, as it won’t drip into and burn my eyes. It’s also good for the face and neck overall. Its active ingredient, zinc oxide, is a well- established, effective, safe mineral sun block w/o the risks of some other products. And it doesn’t expire.
