Quality, supportive bra for larger busts; can be tight on traps. Orange is BRIGHT
Alright, I'm going to include a lot of info and hopefully it helps some of y'all. This is the lavender color in XS D-DD. I did the try before you buy while it was on sale for about $15 (?), the orange one was on sale for under $10. I'd wait until this bra goes on sale to buy it. It runs slightly smaller than the XS D-DD Athleta bras I buy, but for me that works because it gives more support (which is needed for larger busts). I'm planning on keeping this bra, and I'll update this review if anything goes wrong/right (if it's not updated, assume I'm still happy with it)!My measurements: loose underbust 26.5", snug underbust 26", tight underbust 25", standing bust 31", leaning bust 35.5", lying bust 34.5". ABraThatFits calculator gave me US 26H or UK 26FF for my bra size, with my sister sizes being US 28G, US 30F, US 32E; UK 28F, UK 30E, UK 32D. 30 bands don't give me much support so they're casual wear only, 32 bands are too loose to offer more than very minimal support. I normally buy Athleta sports bras on sale in their XS D-DD size (which is meant for 32 band ladies, but they're stretchy enough that they still give me good light-medium or medium support depending on the bra). I have shallow roots so a lot of bras cut into the top of my chest and give me quadboob. I am also center full and a little wide set.This bra is pretty nice! It gives me a solid medium-high support on the loosest hook and I could jump without using my hands to hold the girls down, but it doesn't feel suffocating. I wore it for about 30 minutes while I was eating and it slightly loosened up over that time period - just enough that it was a little more comfy, not so much that makes me think it would become less than medium support over an entire day's wear. The fabric on the outside is soft but not fuzzy. The inside is mesh, but not scratchy. I have sensory issues and the seams do not bother me on this bra. The molded cups don't fit ALL my breast tissue in them on the top, bottom, or sides, but they're close enough that it's not uncomfortable. The elastic band is not scratchy and stays secure under my chest. The straps have adjustable portions on the back. They're nice and thick, I would wear this bra to work but I could see the straps hurting if I wore it for longer than 8-9 hours because of how it sits higher on my shoulders. The back is fine, I don't love feeling the straps near my shoulder blades, but they aren't restricting and the adjustable strap portion is smooth. I actually like the design better than I thought I would. The front does cut into the top of my chest a bit (you can see in the pics), but it's not tight enough on them that I would be constantly adjusting it or trying to stretch it out. The molded cups go up further around the side of the chest toward the armpit than most bras, which I like, but it also means that you're more likely to get that bit of fat squish between the bra and your arm if that's something that bothers you. The cups are also thick enough to hide any nippage.EDIT: Got the blue and the orange colors in, and I'm not sure if my comfort level was just different that day, but the blue seemed tighter on the traps than the pink. It did slightly loosen up over my workout and became more comfortable, but I definitely wouldn't wear it casually. I ended up keeping the blue over the pink since the color looks better on me (it's got a bit of purple in it, more of a cool blue than a warm blue), and I LOVE the back design. I paid $16 for it. The orange is... bright. Someone else compared it to a traffic cone and that's a good description, though I'm not sure it fully describes how neon this thing is. It legit looks like it gives off its own light. It's like they put that world's pinkest pink pigment in it, that's how bright it is. The camera does NOT do it justice. I understand why it was $10. So if you want visibility, definitely get the orange lol.Overall, I would definitely recommend this bra for larger busts/small band big cup. Depending on your cup size you might still be too large for the cups, but sports bras are more forgiving than regular bras so it could still work. Good for running or other mid-high impact activities, and I was comfortable lifting in it. I personally wouldn't do yoga or lower impact activities in it since it's a little tight on my traps, but everyone's bodies are different and the adjustable back/straps could change that for some.
