It doesn't take up much room and can be slid under a bed or desk. Since the pandemic I have been working from home so I don't get to get up and move a lot. I've packed on quite a bit of weight and have already lost 20 pounds in the month I have been using this while working. It is so easy to use and track your distance, calories burned, steps, and time. I am really loving that not only can I save time by working out while working but also staying healthy while getting used to working at home. Great quality machine and worth every penny!

Super easy setup, just plug it in and connect the desktop control panel. I wish I would have gotten this machine pre-covid, to prevent those unwanted pounds from stacking on. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LifeSpan TR1200-DT3 under desk treadmill is a work/life game changer!  I work from home full-time and one of my biggest issues is the lack of exercise that I get when I spend 8-10 hours in front of screen all day.

With the standard goal of trying to achieve 10,000 steps a day, its nearly impossible when you're glued to a desk/chair (granted, I know it's a choice that I make), I only get steps when I'm walking to the kitchen or bathroom throughout the day, which means I'm lucky to even hit a few thousand steps a day.

With LifeSpan under desk treadmill, I can easily hit my goal daily without breaking sweat!  I'm super impressed with just how whisper quite the treadmill is.  I generally walk between 1.5-1.8 mph, however even at 2.5 mph still it's barely noticeable, the loudest sound you hear is the action of stepping on the treadmill deck.

I've opted to use a dedicated pair of shoes while walking while working, this just helps to minimize the potential of getting the unit dirty and reducing the amount of maintenance that needs to be done.

I love that I'm able to work, take meetings, and walk without any disruptions!  No one on my calls can even tell that I'm walking on a treadmill which is fantastic.  I love being able to multitask at work and still get in my steps, it's like two birds with one stone!  I no longer stress about not being able to get exercise.

I like that the LifeSpan's treadmill is simplistic and sleek; was surprised by the overall footprint, yet it's quite heavy.  It feels very durable which is reassuring and the deck feels nice and firm, yet not too stiff.  I have yet to have any comfort issues while walking and I do tend to get shin splints, however I haven't had any issues thus far for over a month of daily usage.

I really like the retro style control panel which includes the slot for the safety key.  The design if super clean and simple to use.  Its also large enough to hold on the top of my sit/stand desk, yet not too overly cumbersome where it would take up too much space.  The button options are simple and self-explanatory which exactly what you need if you're multitasking, simplicity!

Some of my favorite features of this treadmill, it tracks progress; it records your calories, distance, and most importantly, your steps!  Why the step count is important is because my watch (which I use to count steps) will not accurately count my steps while I'm working on a keyboard.  This ensures that I get the most accurate count of each workout.

I also like that this all can be saved/tracked along with LifeSpan's companion app which you can download from the app store.  Bluetooth pair does its job just fine, however it's not as slick or quick as most would probably hope for, but bottom line, it works.

I was a bit skeptical about the idea of walking while working, but I'm totally a believer.  Now this may not be for everyone as some may find it difficult to focus while walking, but for those of you whom love to do many things at once, and does not have problems tackling a few tasks at once, this maybe perfect for you!  It's truly a great way to add some exercise to your work schedule without having it impede on your work time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I consider myself to be a somewhat active person, trying to get to the gym (or lift some weights in my home gym) 3-4 days a week. Weekends tend to be when I get to go on longer hikes with my dog, but working from home during the week, especially in the colder months of winter, it can be tougher to get all my steps in. I know how important regular steps are for overall health and fitness.

Enter the LifeSpan Under Desk Exercise treadmill. This has been a complete game changer in meeting or exceeding my 10K steps daily. This treadmill has wheels so it's easy to move in and out of a space. It takes up very little room and because it's just the base treadmill, it fits perfectly under any desk. The speed only goes up to 4MPH so you aren't going to try to run a marathon here lol. I use this when doing research or between meetings during the day. I have even incorporated into some of my upper body weight training exercises, like doing bicep curls while walking on the treadmill, to get some extra calorie burn in. I have noticed a huge uptick in my overall energy and, honestly, excitement to get up to work in the morning, knowing I am going to simultaneously going to be getting my active steps in! 

The best side effect of all has been that I have lost 5 lbs in just the first month. I can't recommend this enough. If you are on the fence, trust that this will be a great investment for your health.

There's nearly no set-up time for this treadmill, outside of taking it out of the box, and putting it in place. 

Stand up desk:

I'm using a standard standing desk with a maximum height of 56 inches. 

Noise level:

This treadmill is quiet enough for me to participate in team conferences without anyone noticing I'm on a treadmill. I'd characterize the sound level as that of a fan on medium speed. 

Smoothness:

Changing speeds on this treadmill is very smooth. There's no jerking motion of any kind. 

Motor strength:

I weigh 200 pounds. While I'm nowhere near the weight limit for this treadmill, it's not on an incline. Typically, when I walk on my other treadmill, I can tell the motor is working. However, this motor seems to barely be trying at all. 

Time per day:

Since setting this treadmill up, I've been walking on it for 8+ hours a day, during my workday. 

Portability:

There are small wheels on the front of the treadmill that enable it to be moved around. I've had no issue moving it on my thick carpet. 

Control panel:

The panel is VERY simple in design. Honestly, it looks like it came from 1985. However, it gets the job done, and gives me the basic metrics I'm looking for.

Bottom line:

I feel this is the best overall under desk treadmill on the market. I'm very impressed with how quiet this runs, and how long I can use it daily.

Wisper quiet under desk treadmill built to last

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently began working from home, and my main goals during the transition have been to make my office a great working environment and combat the long-term effects of a sedentary lifestyle. Getting a standing desk was a step in the right direction that made a drastic difference, but I wanted to take my efforts a step further with the LifeSpan Under Desk Treadmill. I could not be happier with it, and I recommend it to others with the same goals. 

The treadmill measures 63 inches long, 28.5 inches wide, and 7.25 inches tall. It is unobtrusive and compact but still provides plenty of room to walk. The treadmill weighs around 120 pounds, but there are wheels on the front so that you can grab the bar at the back and move it fairly easily. Since it has a low step-up height, it is easy to step on or off, and it has an “Intelli-Guard” feature that automatically stops the treadmill's belt when you step off for more than twenty seconds. It feels very sturdy when walking on it, and the side rails are aluminum, so it seems to be a well-constructed treadmill. 

One of the most impressive things about the LifeSpan Under Desk Treadmill is that it is whisper quiet. You can barely tell that it is on, which is why there are gray dots on part of the belt so that you can see when it is moving. When walking on it, I do not notice any rattling or mechanical noises. There are impact-absorbing shocks under the deck that not only dampen walking noise but also mitigate impact discomfort. My home office is carpeted, so perhaps that helps dampen some of the noise, but I think it would still be quiet on a hard surface as well. I like that there are no disruptive noises produced by the treadmill so that I can focus on my work.

This treadmill has other great features like “Intelli-Step” which provides high precision step-counting. Instead of estimating steps, it senses each time your foot lands, and the console displays your live step count. The console can also use Bluetooth to sync your exercise history to your phone (steps, calories, time, and distance). Another feature I like is the very wide speed range. It can go from 0.4 MPH up to 4.0 MPH (which is a jogging pace for me). Though I never get up to the 4.0 MPH max speed, I like that the wide speed range provides versatility so that I can choose the perfect speed based on how I am feeling. 

Overall, the LifeSpan Under Desk Treadmill is excellent for staying active and productive. Its near-silent operation allows you to focus on your task at hand, and the wide speed range allows you to find the perfect speed setting. Additionally, there are features like “Intelli-Guard” which automatically stops the belt after you step off, and “Intelli-Step” which automatically counts your steps. It is a well-constructed treadmill with consistent performance. If you are looking to take your office work environment to the next level, the LifeSpan Under Desk Treadmill should be at the top of your list.

This treadmill's compact design helps us to keep this in any room and do the steps when we are working or on the phone. It also helps that it is very quiet while it is operating.  
The unit was super easy to setup. There was no assembly required and hooking up the power cable and controller was quite straightforward. We did need two of us to carry it up the stairs, but once on the floor, we can move it around using the rolling wheels on front. 
The controller is user friendly and easy to adjust the speed/calorie settings. I also like that it has good safety features built in like auto stop when you step off of it. There is also a tether that stops the unit if it detaches from the console. 
I really like the slim, elegant design that doesn't dominate the room and inspires a healthy life habit.
