I just submitted a review on this product. There is absolutely no information on the manufacturer anywhere. There is a notation on the box that says made in China.

Having worked in a dental school for years, you should never use hard bristles on your teeth - would damage enamel. They do not state the classification of these bristles, but my best guess is medium. The unit has a regular setting and also a softer setting if you feel the regular setting is too aggressive.

I would say they are soft, but work much better than regular soft bristle brushes.

The 8 that come with the unit are not classified but I would call them medium.

it took some getting used to, but this thing really does a great job. With multiple speed settings it is easy to adjust to your liking. It comes with plenty of refills, so it should last a single user many months. Or, an entire family can share and each have their own toothbrush attachments. Clean up is easy and the handy travel case is a nice edition.

Crazy clean teeth

I received this tooth brush on the same day that I had a periodontal cleaning. Dentist had suggested I get an electric brush so this came just in time. My teeth still feel dentist clean after a couple of weeks. Before using this I would not have that dentist clean feeling this long. It came with eight brush heads which will last a long time. The brush heads are skinny so I'm able to get to the back of my mouth pretty easy. I still have all my wisdom teeth so that's important. It actually came fully charged which was nice. I really like the 2 minute timer with 30 second stops to make sure I brush for the full 2 minutes. I do my bottom teeth for a minute then my top teeth for a minute. This AquaSonic tooth rush leaves my teeth feeling soo clean everytime, I'm pretty sure my next dentist check will go better than before.

Teeth feel extra clean

I've been using a SpinBrush for as long as I can remember and have thought about 'upgrading' for a while. This sonic toothbrush is so much better, I don't know why I waited! It has 4 modes of operation--Clean, Soft, Whiten and Massage. I mostly use Clean or Whiten modes (Whiten mode is a bit stronger than Clean, and polishes teeth at the same time). The AquaSonic is quieter than the SpinBrush and does a better job! 

I especially like the timer that shuts it off after 2 minutes of brushing; however, be careful that you don't hit another mode (button on handle) or the timer will restart. I also really like that it came with plenty of extra brush heads and even a handy hard plastic travel case. 

The directions said to charge 24 hours before first use but it didn't take that long. The charge indicator light goes off when fully charged. The charger takes up very little room on the bathroom counter. 

I've only used it for about 2 weeks but I feel a difference in how clean my teeth feel and look. Highly recommend!

LOVE it--definitely recommend

Never have I ever experienced such clean, polished teeth as I have after using the Aquasonic toothbrush. Even after visiting the dentist for a cleaning, my teeth never felt this polished. I own a high-end name brand sonic toothbrush, and after using the Aquasonic, I will never use it again. Within one week using the whitening setting, my teeth are whiter. There are four settings. Clean, which is the familiar sonic feeling you may be accustomed to using. Soft, which is a more gentle setting for those with sensitive gums. Whiten, which is your turbo blast polishing that I love and notice a change. Massage, which gently vibrates to massage gums for those who may have issues and need to build healthier gums. The brush runs for two minutes with a brief hesitation every 30 seconds as a suggestion to divide your mouth into four 30 seconds sessions. The brush comes with a carrying case that holds the unit and two brushes. The unit has a month-long charge, so if taking a trip, no need to pack the charger. The value is impressive as it comes with a two year supply of brush heads and is a fraction of the cost of other sonic toothbrushes. The fact it works 100% better than my high end, expensive name brand sonic brush is impressive to me. Being excited over a sonic toothbrush? You've got to experience it to understand the new technology.

Advanced technology

Don't be fooled by the small and dainty looking brush, while yes it's smaller than a standard toothbrush, this thing packs a powerful punch! First, it looks cool and I understand that isn't the most important thing to consider, but hey, it stands out and looks trendy on your counter. The buzzing is effective but not annoying. Disclaimer is keep your mouth closed or you'll be wiping up toothpaste splatter across the walls.....don't say I didnt warn you! Also, if it stops vibrating, no you didnt hit the switch by accident, you're just getting a reminder that it's time to shift spots in your mouth.

Addicting dentist chair squeaky clean feeling!

Great electric toothbrush. The brush comes with a lot of extra tips which is nice for sharing with your significant other, leaving one in a travel bag, or just having one ready to go when you're ready for it. The brush itself was small at first being you're average male. But, it became apparent that its smaller size was for a reason, and actually worked better than the larger brushes I've been using. It's able to get into tight spots and all over on your gums. It's also extremely soft and was basically exactly what I was looking for! There are four settings for power and vibration ratios that you can easily choose from. I prefer the soft setting for my sensitive teeth. It did take me a few tries before my gums and lips got used to the vibration from using a regular toothbrush. At first, it was a little tingly. After I was able to start doing full brushes with it on my teeth, I noticed one of the coolest parts. It stops for just a moment four times and then turns off. Basically, it's two minutes broken up into four parts, and your upper and lower teeth have a front and back, so it's 30 seconds per side. Pretty cool!! The brush comes with a charger that is elegant and trouble-free, and it's a wireless charger, so when you're down, set the toothbrush back down and it charges for the next time you need it. Also, the brush is waterproof, I'm not proud of this but I brush in the shower (multitasking!). I've used the brush many times in the shower getting it covered in water and haven't had an issue. The material is that soft plastic, very nice to hold, and doesn't slip when it's wet. It's also pretty quiet, so it doesn't wake the wife in the morning!

I will say, and maybe it's because it's in the lower price bracket than other brushes, but I do wish it had something more than just vibrate, I was kinda hoping for a spinning or actuating brush, but again, it's a great bargain!

Overall I'm really happy with this toothbrush.

I Am Happy With This Toothbrush

Let me preface this review by saying that I am not familiar with the AquaSonic brand, and have never used one of their products. That being said, I was quite interested in trying out this tooth brush because of how well these types of brushes are said to clean. For ease of use, I will break this review down into categories. 

Design – The design of this tooth brush is just fantastic! Sleek lines and a glossy, black finish that really give it a “no-nonsense” vibe that I happen to enjoy in the products I use. The weight and feel of the tooth brush really do a great job of making it seem like a professional grade product.

Functionality – The tooth brush functions perfectly, with several modes depending on what you need to be doing at the moment. The instructions are clear and easy to read, and it also included several substitute brushes along with the changing stand.

Verdict – 5 out of 5! I really can't recommend this product enough! I will definitely be keeping tabs on this brand for any other products they put out as well as telling my friends about them. Could not be any more satisfied!
