Like many other here I has issues with the resistance being stuck and not being able to use this machine. PLEASE CHECK THE PLUG INTO THE MONITOR!!!!! I put ours upside down!!
I was SUPER ANGRY, contacting customer service, trying to un plug and plug in again, but I read somewhere on these reviews that someone had redone the plug into the monitor. PLEASE PLEASE TRY THIS!!!! 
My last resort I unscrewed the monitor and unplugged and plugged in opposite the way I had it.
Plugged the machine onto the wall and immediately the resistance was released to level 1!!!!!!! I could finally hear the machine adjusting gears when switching levels.
Please try this!!!

READ IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE WITH RESISTANCE

The unit itself is okay except that the right arm bolt holes were off center  and the bolt would not seat correctly.  The drilled holes (right arm) were 1/32" off so the bolt heads would not seat correctly.  The left arm bolts seated perfectly.  I called the customer service from NordicTrack and the service is horrendous, the hold time is 30  minutes both times I called.  The script for troubleshooting is read question by question instead of common sense reasoning.  (The young man who helped me was very kind and pleasant). The rep wanted me to exchange the bolts on each arm to see if they fit better that way????!!!???  I was also told that this was an assembly defect and is not covered under warranty until I explained that this was a manufacturing defect to the rep- once again- scripted trouble shooting started all over.  All in all, it only took an hour and 38 minutes to come to the conclusion that the bolts would not line up and a correctly drilled part was needed.  Even with a camera view the rep did not understand the issue but finally agreed to send a new arm in 7 to 10 business days.  I am looking forward to finally getting to use my Eliptical, but I waited 10 days for shipping and now another 10 days for a manufacturing error.  The rep did say I could use the eliptical if I tightened the bolts and any damage would be covered under warranty, hmmmmmm?!?!?

Delivery to garage.  Had to use dolly to get to basement due to weight.  Extensive assembly really a 2-person job.  Machine locked until activated on website, however the link provided takes you to a place where the only options are to select a $/month membership to online fitness program by iFit.  Eventually figured out how to get unlocked without joining.

Great Equipment

Machine is well made, iFIT is good idea but needs lots of work, too much talk. But I will give it a shot. Speaker don’t use Bluetooth to play phone audio, needs Aux?
But my main problem was same as one of the other reviewer who gave 1 star. Because of it I might have to return this huge elliptical if I hadn’t found the solution.
Even after iFIT activation, console showed power but was stuck in highest resistance. I also noticed that moving elliptical wasn’t counting my pace or distance. That gave me a clue that the issue could be with the cable connection from base to console. Once I connected the two cables other way it worked like a charm. This connector design needs improvements, it snaps either way, one way we get into this problem (console powers but no data is recorded, machine gets stuck at highest resistance), other way it works as expected.

Most ellipticals have two types of resistance levels. First is the resistance to speed and the second, the incline of your pedals. This has a manual set with the incline (doesn’t change) and only has a resistance to speed. For someone like me who uses the incline settings, this isn’t a good fit. Also, some parts came in scratched

Delivered and left out in the pouring rain. Water poured out of the box when we moved it.  I’m sure it was great for the electrical components of the machine. By the way, the garage was accessible as well as a covered porch. The instructions say specifically to leave in a dry place. Those weren’t my instructions, but the company’s instructions.

Who Leaves An Item Like This Out In The Rain!?!?

Unit appears to be well built, and it was very heavy.  However after spending all the time to put together, it's very difficult to use.  no matter how low you set the resistance, it seems like it's always at the top level.  It makes it impossible to use for most in the family, so this probably going to have to go back...

Disappointing :(

After spending a couple of hours assembling the machine and going through the annoying activation process, the interior mechanics make a terrible clicking sound and then increases the resistance to max all on its own. I've been emailing iFit's customer service for three weeks with no resolution and phone wait times are an hour or more. Unfortunately, this will likely be returned.

I was so excited to get my elliptical!! I had to wait 2 extra weeks because the sister company that does the delivery wouldn't deliver it. When it did arrive the box was tore up and my equipment had dents and pieces of it broken. Walmart did a free job of shipping it but I would suggest not using the delivery company !!

The rights elliptical foot pedal literally broke off from main body. Getting the run around from Walmart, Allstate, and NordicTrack concerning the warranty.  Purchased 01/21/2022, broke 2/14/2022.
