I have used a Nathan running belt for several years. It served me well, and I had been very satisfied but it was showing its age and I decided to retire it for this newer model.I bought belt this in February, it worked very well initially. It handled bounce well. The utility straps are nice for gloves and I loved the larger pocket--in many respects it appeared an ideal and worthy replacement to my previous belt. Here we are now a little over two months later and it is now a total failure. This is the problem: The water bottles are supported in the belt by a sturdy plastic holder, the sturdy plastic holder is held tight against the belt and runner by an elastic strap. As you run, the up and down motion of your body causes the elastic to rub against the holder causing it to wear and stretch out. Mine is now so loose that the bottles flop around, banging against my back and falling out of the belt entirely. Not ideal when you're only a few hundred yards from the start of your run and you have to turn around and pick up your water bottle off the ground.I am not the only person with this issue. If you look at all the other 1-2 star reviews they are all individuals who come back several months later to complain of the same problem. In some cases I can see the elastic has broken entirely. Buyer beware of any review of this item with less than a few hundred miles of running.I am now returning my belt to the manufacturer. I pulled up their website. It looks like customer support is non-existent. I figured I could call or email someone, but the only way to get service is to mail the product to their facility.--what is this, 1980?
